My personal opinion is that GZ is guilty of 2nd degree murder, but my guess is that the jury will vote for manslaughter. I think any hope of claiming self-defense or trying to assert that he was in fear went out the window when he got out of his truck.

I agree completely. People who are very religious, only kinda religious, or not religious at all wear crosses or things with crosses on them.

I think the cross looks very ordinary, and similar to the type of thing you find in the 'novelty' section in convenience stores, souvenir shops, etc. Could also be homemade. To me, it looks more like it goes on a keyring rather than a necklace.

I've wondered that myself from the beginning. I'm not clear on just when Zimmerman parked wherever he was when he called the PD, or how he came to be there. I think I missed that part of the timeline.
