John Doe's Namus was recently updated https://identifyus.org/cases/2105 Thomas Brooks is not a listed rule-out. But John Doe's dentals are available. Could Brooks' dentals be available from Virginia?

If Kraft didn't take the laces, it's possible that John Doe had spent time in a mental hospital. Some of them allow you to wear your own shoes, and those that do take your laces.
