To me RD is all over the map and changes his versions of what happened. He tells different versions of his story -- one he told to the SA during interrogation, things he said while in jail and different versions in his testimony at trial. To me his credibility is a big issue.
When you have a family member who is involved in a horrendous crime, that leaves other non-criminal family members with some very tough choices to make. Depending on the circumstances, they could be liable and any lawyer will tell you to not speak to the media.
Most people involved in this...
I question whether you could even determine if the keys were for the burned out shell of the Rav4. Looking at my plastic car and imagining what would happen if it was burned using gasoline and propane as the accelerants, I imagine only the manufacturer could match the keys to the serial number...
Sometimes it seems like our courts afford the accused more rights that the victims or the public. I am not defending the system, just trying to try to explain it. I guess I am always shocked when a case gets to trial how much evidence they have and how they manage to keep it out of the public...
I am glad you are mentioning that Canadian feel they were adequately warned. It has been mentioned numerous times, but somehow it gets lost in all the rhetoric here about the RCMP not warning people to be careful.
Also some here keep referring to the failures of the RCMP, and all I can assume...
Just wondering what evidence could be obtained from keys that have been in a fire. I understand that there were numerous propane cylinders inside the vehicle which exploded throwing stuff all around the vehicle. The heat would be extremely intense in such a situation. I think most things of...

I, for one, am convinced that LE had the evidence...
I want to congratulate the Mounties for doing an amazing job looking for a needle in a haystack. They stayed focused and did not let media or on line speculation and innuendo de-track them from the job.
Yes they have sniffer dogs. They left York Landing because the dogs did not pick up any scent of KM or BS. They have never publicly stated that the dogs picked up their scent in Gilliam, but it seems obvious their scent was picked up there & that is why LE has kept a presence there.
The Rav4 would definitely have a radio and news update are every 30 minutes on radio stations. There are some areas, more so thru the Rockies, where radio frequencies would be intermittent.
A podcast done by the National Post with a review of the information known to date. Not much new information.
10/3 podcast: The unending manhunt for B.C. murder suspects
I think that is very true of bigger centers, but much harder getting around in smaller centers like PA. BC Transit has spoken about expanding its service to the rural area of Sproat Lake as recently as June 2019 . It takes about 20 minutes by car to drive between the two places, so BS would...
