    CB cannot deny ever being in possession of a video recorder and tapes at that period in time because the witness saw them.

    I think the legality may depend on the wording on the original search warrant. If police were just searching for any illegal waste disposed of at the box factory then the buried data carriers would not have been in plain sight so not lawfully collected.     BIB.. How are the court supposed to establish that something unofficial didn't happen if the defence conveniently has supporting photos?

    How many other prisoner's cells would she have been involved in bugging during her employment and what prevented her from raising concerns about such a procedure during the trials of those defendants? I think motive may well be key.
