I didn't watch the inquest...Care to elucidate a bit?
I don't know many languages, but in French, and, it seems, German, mother is a word used to explain the specific relationships of mother and child. My mother, my wife's mother, my mother in law, the mother of my friend. Maybe you are...
Good point. RB didn't suggest a name change for his other target, did he?
It could be that Marion was anticipating getting married in Luxemberg, and decided to anticipate the happy event by doing some of the paperwork (most brides wait until after...)
Since she indicated that she was...
Interesting, thanks for the details.
This case strikes me as similar to the Chad Daybell/Lori Vallow case. Both (plus her dead brother) seem to have believed a theory about zombies which seemingly gave them permission to consciously commit multiple murders. Lori was actually declared...
Funny, her being a lawyer and all - lawyers usually tell their clients to say nothing and contact your lawyer asap.
Too bad her brother and mother didn't do the same, she must have advised them during their alleged conspiring to not get a lawyer, talk to police a lot and try to be as helpful...
To me, that makes no sense for the prosecution. They already had a hung jury because the mastermind had not been convicted. They need to try them together to show she was essential to the crime, or get her to agree to testify. Perhaps this move is part of that plea dealing.
Also, I would...
I'm not going to map it, but I think this aspect of the case against Wendi would be more solid if it could be shown that the route she intended to drive, past Dan's (her former?) house, made no sense in navigating around, ie would never be recommended by google maps, or didn't save a tricky left...
I agree. Also, IMO, no matter what Sally finds out about what happened, IMO there are still those fundamental actions of her mother, which were to keep secrets and, it seems, tell lies.
Especially upsetting since, if Marion had said what was really going on, Sally could probably have saved...
With regards to TLV podcast, it has been too long and drawn out for me to listen to the whole thing, but it's a handy source of info, both the beginning for the basics that Sally already knew, and the inquest which I didn't watch or find another summary elsewhere.
IMO the Prosecutors do...
IMO, the moment police came to speak to her she could have asked whether it had to do with the kids. Most parents of young children are constantly vigilant.
The video I watched during the trial was just a short clip, I'm not up for 5 hours of Wendi.
How do you know she didn't ask about her kids? Or check with the daycare herself? IMO, the first thing police would have checked was whether the kids were okay, since otherwise they'd be looking at a kidnapping.

I often notice how perps blame their target for doing what they themselves want/ intend to do:
"(Lilo) sounded over the phone [like] he was worried about his safety and stuff like that,".
I'm wondering whether this private detective is being completely honest, claiming that it was pure...
Sure, that's what I would expect, but the defence lawyers are not screaming "innocent", they're screaming "innocent until proven guilty", which kind of shows a lack of confidence, IMO.
I agree, and prosecutors have to take these things into account. IMO casting the conspiracy net so wide risks diluting CA's culpability and I could see a jury getting impatient with such weak evidence that they refuse to convict any of the A's.
Prosecutors have to be strategic, IMO they want...
Agree, and it's not the same as innocent until proven guilty either!
..."Zack remains innocent until proven guilty, and is not guilty of the crimes with which the State has charged him,” Moyer and Moorman said in an emailed statement...
Bail Denied for Pianist Charged in Murder of Greer SC Woman
However, in the inquest it was reported she withdrew the $80,00 from the Ashmore bank on Oct. 15th. I haven't been following, is it your theory this wasn't her?
Interestingly, Owen's birthday was Oct. 18th. That was the key date that Sally, and IMO police, would take seriously, not...
