ok, thanks. So she was talking on the phone or texting with him until that time, so we know they were apart and she was alive until then. I didn't know that. So there wasn't someone lying in wait when she got home from the date. Presumably she got in safely then and was texting or talking to him...

I had always thought it was strange for her to call so late to say a date went well, it made me wonder if she'd been made to call by someone. Edited to add: if she was made to make that phone call, that would at least be evidence of premeditation.

I think as long as the phone is on it keeps pinging as texts or anything else is coming in, not only when the owner is still texting right? For example in the BD case it seemed like they had pings after she stopped texting, that showed how her phone travelled southward. But we never did hear...
