In a case as high profile as this? I would guess yes to full access/control but obviously don't know if the law allows it. IMO with full oversight from the SM platforms and by the police standards board (or whatever arm of the police oversee such things), I don't see why not if the family...
Correction: "Might show Nicola as being online". The Lancashire accent.
She then goes on to say: "I want to make this really clear we have control over this phone and this will be the police that is doing these enquiries".
Unfortunately you misheard.
She makes it clear she is pre-emptively telling the public there will be activity on her accounts that look just like her using it but it is the Police doing it all as they have full access.
I honestly thought she was super clear here on this point.
*back to lurking*
I'm puzzled about what the issue is with a ladder? These incidents (estate agents requesting a ladder to check something sus with a ceiling this week and NM allegedly placing LC in loft) happened 3.5 years apart for a starter!
As for the rest of this case, I'm really glad Leah was found and her...
Interesting so she lived elsewhere. So now I wonder what convinced her to suddenly go there, post mystery items through (another?) house' letterbox, leave her belongings (I assume meaning her handbag etc) and then voluntarily? get in the van of her ex. Some kind of ruse that would make her drop...
Anyone know whether the house next to Aldi with Police car outside is his place rather than hers? Or did they even live together?
So much info that really isn't clear to me.
I was thinking they were being used to detect recent changes in the ground/undergrowth?
This is a particularly confusing case from the info released and the family comments. I'm jumping between suicide/assisted suicide/murder. When does the 96 hours run out if it gets that far and what happens...
Granted, but LE only stopped the search ~36 hours? ago and doubt the water went from flooded to receded enough to find "articles" and human remains.
I would've thought in areas underwater a month ago they would be re-searched as they receded? I think JB mentioned on the stream it hadn't rained...
If this turns out to be him then he's done exactly as I thought he did and gone there to end his life on his terms (rather than going through the US prison system which would be worse than hell itself for him) and in such a way and place that would be as difficult as possible for LE/FBI to find...
I rewound the live feed and Mahsa said: "Some articles belonging to Brian were found. WOW. The attorney telling us right now that some clothing belonging to Brian Laundrie was found".
Clearly got a little ahead herself there..or read something she shouldn't out loud!
Just reading the latest...
Wait....This is from SB but is he saying the parents decided to go searching the day after the police pull back and immediately find some of Brian's clothes?
Hm...
Been trying to think outside the box as to why the FBI have continued to put all their search eggs in the reserve.
Could it be with all the prep time Brian had (at least 13 days) could he have been a little "clever" and bought the phone (or even phones), plugged into fully charged power banks...
It has to be telling LE/FBI keep going back to the reserve. They must strongly suspect or have quality evidence that is the only place he went. The complete lack of sightings or other evidence of him out there backs this up. I would doubt even the best survivalist/SAS/Navy Seal could keep...
