But searching the lake 10 years too late? I’m not sure they would find anything. Skeletal remains would have likely been covered over by the muck of the lake bottom and possibly broken apart and dispersed. Sonar wouldn't work in that case and since there is no car to locate, I think it’s just...
UC Davis doesn’t have a big local fan base, either. I was at the previous weekend’s game AT UC Davis in California and the crowd was small. I can’t imagine very many of those fans driving 13 hours to see a game that they wouldn’t drive 13 minutes to see in their own backyard. Sure, a local UCD...
Re: Google street view - the online map photos are are collection of photos taken over the past decade (or even longer). Occasionally, the “view” changes years as you move down a street. It cannot be used to effectively search an area because it’s not current or consistent, though it’s useful...
The point of the Hanson Ct car discussion isn’t that one of those white cars IS the perp, it’s the opposite: one of those white cars could be what the gas station clerk saw and her observation is unrelated to the crime.

Perhaps the 911 caller was staying over in one of the rooms on the first floor with one of the roommate survivors? Finally got up at noon, went for some food in the kitchen, saw the body and then ran back downstairs to the bedroom and used their cell phone.
Except that in the event of a death resulting from such an illegal action, then a charge of “involuntary manslaughter” can be sought. That’s a felony and can result in serious prison time. It’s been used for drunk driving cases in the past that ended in death, charging bartenders, party hosts...
How about the fact that someone provided alcohol and marijuana to a minor, who then died accidentally? That’s breaking the law and people have been charged with manslaughter for similar. To say this case is resolved and nothing else should happen is an insult to her death. Someone is at fault...
Perhaps her windshield was broken prior to leaving the party? Someone could have fallen or been thrown onto it during a fight or even just fooling around. She would still attempt to drive home and visibility through it would be awful, making it that much easier to get lost and drive into the...
