She felt fragile when she saw the mistress, Toni McHugh's, car at the gym #badenclay

Where in the catchment were all those leaves that match the ones in her hair? The botanist walked a fair way along the creek bed looking for them. She can't have come down the catchment for kms and kms or her body would have been caught up on the creek bed/edge further up where the creek flow thins out.

I have to say reading a lot of what they say you wish you could be the prosecution because there are so many retorts back at the defence and I don't know if the prosecution will catch them and remember to retort them all.

Allison told a psychiatrist that she felt like a bad wife, and she was in despair over her husband's affair #badenclay

Being in despair would be a normal reaction in her situation

Byrne discussing evidence from Dr Rosamund Nutting. Allison told doctor she was a bad wife, she was struggling with three kids. #badenclay

Some of this stuff is really upsetting to read. What mother/wife hasn't at one time or another claimed to be doing a bad job and struggling to get through the days. To think Allison's own words could be used against her in this way is horrible.

Caroline Overington ‏@overingtonc 51s

Also important is evidence from the Relationships Australia counsellor, who saw Gerard, Allison, and the two of them together #badenclay

Caroline Overington ‏@overingtonc 27s

This counsellor did not know that Allison had a lengthy history of depression #badenclay

Thanks for taking over while I was gone JK!

4:05pm: Mr Byrne has turned his attention to Mrs Baden-Clay's history with depression and anxiety.

He recalled the evidence of forensic psychiatrist Dr Mark Schramm.

"One could imagine that the stress association wit the problems in the marriage could have contributed to thoughts of suicide. One could imagine that even though she'd learnt about that, I understand, some time beforehand, that those wounds may have become more raw upon visiting the Relationships Australia counsellor. So I don't I can confidently say there's nothing in the notes that I've seen to suggest that she might be a risk," Dr Schramm said.

Mr Baden-Clay had been with his wife Allison to see Relationships Australia counsellor Carmel Ritchie on April 16, 2012, to discuss his infidelity.

So! Allison goes for a walk at 6am, walks 14 kms, throws herself off a bridge, doesn't break anything, doesn't drown. And no-one saw her walk all that way. 14kms at a brisk walk would take at least 3-4 hours on the flat. Out that way there are so many hills she would have been walking for at least 5 hours, yet no-one saw her. Not even when they were searching for her at 8am? Great Defence Byrne. Far out.

David Murray ‏@TheMurrayD 48s
Ms Ritchie didn't see the sessions as being for Qs & As, but failed to give advice on this to Allison and Gerard #badenclay

Sarah Elks ‏@sarahelks 45s
