There is a lot of info here that was not previously released, although I am not sure if it is 100% reliable:
http://www.examiner.com/article/amazing-secrets-unclaimed-child-evidence-expands-part-1-a-series

I don't get the feeling that these cases are related, outside of a possible cognitive disability, RJD does not fit the "type", also she was just tossed out in the open. SZ concealed/hid the bodies of the 2 victims we know about. JMO, yet I would think that LE is looking into the possibility.

On the whole I agree with you, but this victim was long enough ago that perhaps the killer's methods have evolved over the years.

Thanks for the link. I have no clue where they got their info; I've never heard she was wearing a medallion on her wrist. That actually goes to a male in Georgia. It's not on her NamUs profile, nor her NCMEC profile.

Apparently NCMEC posted it to their twitter - This item was found on an unidentified deceased child. Can you help identify it? http://ow.ly/i/5IBdh http://ow.ly/xmiqc

no where does it say it belongs to RJD. Looks like Diane W MSW some how added RJD there which made it take off as truth.

It's on the profile of John Doe 2009. The exact photo.

Going crazy trying to figure out where that photo (below) being tied to RJD came from. The best I can tell is that the writer; Diana Winslow; for some reason uploaded SJD's image on the tweet on May 28th seeming to mix up the information on 2 cases. I asked her where she got it from; she says the top links. The top links do not go to RJD; they go to the John Doe.

SKELETON, CATHOLIC GIRL?? Who died in 1980-1990 FOUND In WESTERN US .@USCCB .@MissingKids .@Pontifex PLEASE ID

From the Examiner article
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children dispensed newly offered major new pieces data from law enforcement. Here is their post. NCMEC ‏@MissingKids May 28 This item was found on an unidentified deceased child. Can you help identify it? http://ow.ly/i/5IBdh http://ow.ly/xmiqc #HelpIDMe. This is the first released additional information for Racine Jane Doe in the new reassessment of this case.

It strikes me as something that an Orthodox Russian would wear.

That was my thought too. Or maybe Greek Orthodox, or Armenian.

I think it speaks to the rumor that she was an immigrant. I wonder what the immigrant population was like in Racine County in the 90s.

The youngest Carbuff recently moved to Wisconsin. My impression of their history is that it has always been a very mixed region: an indigenous culture that goes back thousands of years, descendants of French-Canadian trappers and missionaries, fishermen of many nationalities, German/Swiss/Austrian farmers, and a strong connection to Chicago and its cosmopolitan population. We visited a brewery that is now owned by two Canadians of Indian (Asian, that is) descent. But I don't know whether it was different in the 1990's. I get the impression it's always been like that.

Personally, I don't think there's any reason to think she's an immigrant, though that's certainly possible. There was just a case down in Florida about a girl who went missing 40 years ago; her body was found three years later IN THE SAME CITY and wasn't identified until recently. It boggles the mind, but information about these cases does not get around the way you'd think it would. I suspect that the people who are looking for her just haven't looked in the right spot yet, or a match has been ruled out erroneously, or the missing persons report hasn't been uploaded to any of the national databases yet. Or it was made at the time and purged when the missing person turned 18 or 21.

note, this has nothing to do with the mistaken personal item.

It does not belong to her. The writer of the story mixed 2 cases up. Read the info from NCMEC. Click the 2 links. They are not hers. It belongs to a Hispanic boy

Sorry, I know it wasn't hers. I was guilty of wandering off topic, speculating about its origin.

It drives me nuts when they report inaccuracies. People will be quoting her article as fact in a few months.

How does the Doe network do things? I submitted my match for RJD re : Doreen Vincent.
This was their reply:

I checked our database and this is already been submitted.

Thank you,
Best Regards,

Perhaps I should just resubmit to the Investigator that I had originally submitted her to?

I read in a way back post (on this thread) that the Doe Network told someone they did not feel she was Doreen , and that they felt she was foreign due to the bad condition of her teeth.
What I want is a DNA comparison/rule out. Or am I being unrealistic?
An opinion is easy to come by, we all have those, but they prove nothing.
:banghead:

Going back over the thread because I'm writing up a comment to that inaccurate article. SSA has given me input on her dentals; it also irks me that she puts her opinion in the article that her tooth decay could have been from drugs. She should write that it is her opinion. She also states RJD had a broken arm; that is nowhere in her information

With Doreen; why not submit RJD to Doreen's NamUs case worker or Doreen's local case worker?

Please let me know if anyone has any more input to add to the comments.

Amazing secrets: Unclaimed child evidence expands (Part 1 in a series)

Please check your article for accuracy/errors. You refer to "Racine Jane Doe" (RJD) as RDJ/CrystalRae through a lot of your article. Simply mixing up 2 letters can confuse the reader.

My biggest issue with your article is that you confused TWO CASES on twitter. NCMEC posted a scapular to their twitter - This item was found on an unidentified deceased child. Can you help identify it? http://ow.ly/i/5IBdh http://ow.ly/xmiqc For some reason on May 28th you uploaded RJD's photo to the NCMEC Twitter photo of the 4/24/2009 Seminole County, GA John Doe. See this link https://twitter.com/Cultiv8Hop... The exact photo is on his NCMEC flier http://www.missingkids.com/... This is not on Racine Jane Doe's NamUs profile, nor her NCMEC profile.

TEETH - Your details are inaccurate. You say that she did not have dental care when in fact she did. Racine Jane Doe had a
filling in tooth #3 and she had received care to have all four wisdom teeth removed. Tooth #2 had also been removed and the socket had healed. She lost teeth #19, #30, and #31 post mortemly. Tooth 10 Rotated and Lapped Behind Tooth 9
Her two upper front teeth protruded slightly, a rotated incisor, and she had several decayed teeth but we can not speculate that it was due to drug use. For all we know she could have genetic problems like my family does. I did not have dental care until age 12; all 4 of my molars were in bad shape and rotted in my 20's. My daughter has had dental care since she was 2; as well as having her teeth sealed; it did not stop her molars from rotting at the gum line.

Where did you get the information that she had her ARM broken? No where do I see it was reportedly out of position or in an odd position.

I also do not feel that she was malnourished, or under weight at 120lbs for height of 5'8". There are many women (myself included) with that weight/height.

A lot of the article is your opinion; I wish you would state that. In a few months your opinion and inaccuracies will be quoted as fact; making it even harder to find her identity. I along with many other "web sleuths" have been working her case for many years. I have been following her for 5 years. The last thing we want to see is that she was a malnourished drug addict.

From the Help ID Me FB post -
Do you recognize this item? This felt charm was worn on the wrist of an
unidentified male found in Donalsonville, Georgia in 2009. Do you know
the significance of this item, or where someone may have purchased it?

Unique items are often found with unidentified children. Sometimes they
are recognized by the public or family members, and this helps lead to
identifications. See more about this case here: http://ow.ly/xiZnr

What determines who they rule out? They have ruled out females that look nothing like her; example:with Blonde hair/ blue eyes. I don't get it.
I submitted Doreen Vincent some months ago.

The only thing I can think of is that Doreen had a small mole on her abdomen, yet if RJD was abused in that area , maybe it was over looked. At any rate, why not officially rule her out? Doreen is not on the Ruled out list at NamUs.

I don't really worry about the age she "was" or location she is missing from, as anything can happen. People have been found alive/deceased many states/years away from where they originated, in other cases.

The nose is exact, especially note the shadow on the <- side, the chin, also the -> eye appears slightly narrower (less "open") on both . The face shape, I see more similarities than differences. I just wish they would rule her out at the very least.

On first glance, this to me is 100 per cent the same person.
Did anything ever come of the analysis done after the exhumation?

I agree it looks good; just like Alexis/Aundria Bowman did. Doreen has DNA & dentals in NamUs. Curious what was compared since RJD's DNA is held by LE. Either way; they should add Doreen to RJD's exclusions.

I doubt they ran DNA re: Doreen. I don't understand it. I only know she is not on any public rule out list for RCJD.

Resubmit her to NamUs. If they say she's already been compared & ruled out; ask how then ask they add her to the rule out list

It is encouraging that others see the resemblance.
Despite the obvious similarities,I have circled here, a small detail that really convinced me that this could be Doreen.

What I've done is filled out Doe Net's form; then copy it to NamUs. Brenda Galarza is Doreens contact; her email addy is listed
