I think about 98% of the perps are using drugs. That's just my personal opinion.

I've been reading this-- and Brittney Wood's-- thread for the last few months, with not much to say.

I think the sketch is a good match based on the information that could be gleaned under the circumstances. Time will tell. I'm just happy things have moved forward.

Officials said Abby described the man as having darkish skin, dark brown eyes, black stubble facial hair and a large build. They said he was slightly overweight and slightly taller than she was, at 5 feet 4 inches tall.

Kibby has blue eyes. Is this... the right guy? Or was there more than one?

Assuming that this single count relates to the 'driving away' "In Conway" portion of this case, I wonder if that means there will be more charges, more people or more locations, like Gorham may not be where she was held.

That's what I'm wondering. This is amazing that an arrest was made, but I wonder if there are other perps involved.

Now, that is interesting! IF it's the same person. Shows he's mighty brazen.

It seems to be, he was fined for speeding at one point and had a North Conway address.

I ran him through our public records search via Lexis at work. Not comprehensive, by any means, but has/had a weapons permit out of Maine. No criminal history listed, but Lexis isn't the best at updating that information. All his legal residences listed in New Hampshire.

There's a possible email address listed for him, but I couldn't find anything online regarding that email. Out of an abundance of caution, I'm not going to post the address just in case it's someone else's.

those letters to the editor are from 10 years ago. And he seems quite well read. (or well spoken is perhaps a better term.)

The wording that singles out a particular date in the charges is kind of strange to me. Maybe it is only because they just wanted him charged with one thing for now to hold him and will add more later. They didn't give a date range or just "kidnapping." They specifically said that date. It stands out to me. IMO
