VA - Hannah Elizabeth Graham, 18, Charlottesville, 13 Sept 2014 - #16 *ARREST*

I was gone all day and during a late lunch around 2, I was clicking through news sites on my phone and I SWEAR I saw a report that the search for Hannah was extending to Texas. I have no idea which site that was on, but I was mostly checking TV websites from central and sw VA. Did anyone else see a report on this?

sheesh

I should have finished watching the Galveston press conference. Sheriff says they were doing a search for her around the area where JLM was found.

I need to see if any drugs have come up missing at his place of employment.

I thought about that but having been in a hospital in the not so distant past they have meds under lock % key in a cryptic kind of way. Very hard to get meds out of a hospital, not so sure about the used iv bags that would have morphine and whether or not there is anything of value left in the tubing and whatnot. jmo idk

Yes earlier today there reports of searching in Texas. When Longo gave his Presser today he/they feel she is in VA. It's good they checked/checking Texas tho as it seems to me to be part of a thorough Investigation.

Better safe than sorry. No one would take kindly to LE cutting corners here.

JM does talk slow. Not convinced yet that he is "slow". Question-would JM have to write SAT's for his entrance into College despite being admitted on a Scholarship? Do some schools not require it? Our Son went to school in the U.S. on a Scholarship but he had to write SAT's. (Our Country does not have SAT's)

I believe he would need at least a 17 on the ACT to play at Liberty.

oh man... I was worried this would happen; too many threads! why why why? :scared: :tantrum:

Longo did address the smaller white girl claim. Stated he was unaware of such.
I've missed a lot today. Can someone briefly update me on this smaller white girl? I'm sorry...

I am kind of surprised that the sexual assault incident was over twelve years ago and nothing related to women/sex assault since then, as far as we know. If he does not match any other known cases, I might wonder about any pre-meditation, possible accidental death while with Hannah, etc...just not sure. So much depends on whether he is linked to other crimes. I know he could have just not been arrested on other attempts from 2002-2014 but it does seem odd. Jmo

Or he had the same pattern as in the assault with the lawyer in 2009...

Do something (impulse? intentional? or?) and then realize what he's done or the consequences of it and become contrite and try to make things right, and basically almost make the victim(s) feel like he was sorry, or it was an accident, and not press things.

We also had the lawyer say he thought something was basically off - him being depressed or even suicidal.

If someone does something, suddenly seems very sorry and wants to fix things, and/or you're also worried about their own mental health, and you think, well, he doesn't have any other charges like this, etc., I could see A LOT of other incidents that all played out like a bunch we already know of.

Charges being pressed against JM, but then ultimately them being dropped, could easily be a pattern, IMO.

LE sure seems dead set on Carter Mountain. They searched there before. I know I said before that I changed my mind about JM maybe moving the body from a place in VA to a place in TX, but now I'm wondering if they have reason to believe that the body has been shuffled around VA?

She says she first called a local Crime Stoppers number, but she says no one took her call seriously. "I told them the guy you're looking for is on the beach where I am," she says.
A dispatcher at the Galveston County Sheriff's Office was more responsive. Karen waited on the beach for a deputy to arrive.

WOW...That's reassuring. Glad the Sheriff's office listened. Perfect example of how every single bit of info should be called in and every single lead should be pursued. Texas? Who would have thought? May he do the right thing and lead them to Hannah.

When I heard the reporter describe his interview with the attorney regarding the assault charge it reminded me of a domestic abuser. Violent lashing out followed by apologies and contrition.

Is this saying that she called two different numbers? Wow, I can imagine thinking I saw a suspect, and worrying and second guessing my judgment... If I were in some way ridiculed by the first person I called, I wonder if I would call the second number? Thank goodness she had so much confidence.

I love it too! My dad and I have gone a few times and I was just saying I want to go again!

My kids and I always went every year in the fall to pick apples. It's really nice. They have a hayride that takes you down to the apple trees. They have "apple everything". Apple slushies, apple donuts. So yum! Lots of families there. People bring their doggies. It's a great time. Love it there.

Oh, gosh, I hope no children end up finding anything there that will scar them =/

Some days ago it was reported/tweeted whatever that a neighbor had spotted JM with a small white girl hours prior to JM meeting up with Hannah. Not sure if it was aft. or early eve. Small white girl did not fit Hannah's description. Today this question was asked at the presser with Longo. He stated he was unaware of this.
