Finally someone is discussing the sexual component to this and other crimes he's committed. Can't believe the defense tried to completely whitewash over any insinuation that LM may be a tad "sexually deviant". Not surprising also that every time they try to bring up things he's done, especially the cat videos, the defense objects.

Pretty sure the defence has argued out the viewing of the cat videos. Actually, likely most of the defence arguments around the videos are even talking about the videos or their content since they will not be shown. It's a fine line considering LM admitting to at least one of them to Dr. Watts. I think at least that one should have been allowed to be entered.

I have quite a bit to catch up on, and have just skimmed these last few pages, but thought I'd drop in to say that I don't think paying witnesses (defense or prosecution/medical professional or otherwise) for their testimony should be legal. Fair trials are impossible with biased testimony, and most of the 'experts' in this case have had an agenda one way or the other. :thinking:

On another note, this is the main reason why I rarely follow trials. :gaah:

Seriously? The defense sends the jury out of the room every time a new subject is brought up? This can't look good to the jury. They have to know the defense is panicking about every piece of evidence the crown is bringing up. Needing a pre-emptive conference before the Crown can say a word about anything.

Dr. Chamberland took the stand at about 3:20pm on Nov 25th. He's been there 2 full days and about 1 hour on the first day and another hour today.
