During the first impact , the drivers side hit the lamp post and 1st tree .... most likely just behind the drivers seat area , then the car spun 180 degrees and hit the final tree , also just behind the seat area but on the passenger side.
The fuel tank is located behind the seats but the start of the fire was likely in the rear engine compartment (black smoke only) then in about 30-60 seconds the fuel began to burn (yellow flames)
From TMZ link
"The report also says there was "scant soot in Walker's trachea" -- suggesting he took a few breaths after impact. Sources close to the investigation, however, tell TMZ, they believe both men died almost immediately.
And the report goes on ...
Paul had 14% carbon monoxide saturation in his blood stream ... the normal level is 2%. Roger had 10%.
According to the report ... after impact the car spun 180 degrees, struck a tree and nearly tore in half before exploding in flames."

How did they inhale so much CO to saturate their blood?
PWW IV had a 14% level. Roger at 10%. They weren't inside the car but a few moments before the crash. :fish:
Naw, I don't know what happened except the driver drove too fast and the right tire exploded like a Formula One does as they entered the long curve. The skid marks are from the hard turn right where Rodas hit the curb, likely sending the Carrera airborne, slicing through the lightpost and tree; doing an 180 spin to then, slam Paul's side into the tree where the bark was sliced off by the damage. It is said that the entire accident occurred in two - three seconds. Humans cannot react that quickly or can they? The Carerra GT Porsche' can travel up to speeds of 240mph.
Just prior to the Porsche' making the hard right, maybe the right tire blew out slinging the car into an easterly direction nearly airborne.
Paul Walker's movie "The Skulls" Could Paul Walker have taken a secret to his grave? BTW, a little bird left a seed that the 2010 movie, oddly enough, ties into his death. And it's a fantastic cat and mouse thriller.

The Accident
The red Porche flew through the air; slicing the concrete lantern pole in half after the Lt side, where Roger sat, hit the pole and the Rt hits on the sidewalk curb. Skid marks. 83mph ^^^
While still airborne, the final tree is hit by the passenger's side door area slicing open the car into fourths before bursting into flames. It was a horrific death for Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. Painful. Multiple broken bones and a fractured body. PW breathed in smoke/soot slightly. He died after the Carrera's fire began. I consider him to be a professional race car driver and his partner was a Champion driver, too. Were the tires on the GT dry-rotted?
How much or at what level would CO knock someone out? Then, to have all of Paul's notes, photos, writings, scripts, movie clips and you name it were conveniently stolen during Nov 2015 through an unlocked door at his agent's office that required elevator access. 13 computers. $300,000 worth valuables stolen.

"Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas produced by burning gas, wood, propane, charcoal or other fuel. Improperly ventilated appliances and engines, particularly in a tightly sealed or enclosed space, may allow carbon monoxide to accumulate to dangerous levels."
