I am not trying to be insensitive or uncaring. It is what it is. The only time it really counts is when it is you or a loved one. The truth is the further the victim is at the fringes outside of the law the less anyone cares about them.

Because the public either didn't care or didn't know. Dead prostitutes get little to no press until there's a cluster, or a weird twist, that will sell news. Once the public gets stirred up, LE is forced to make a showing. Otherwise, it's just another dead hooker.
 
Hawk, Do you think JB had a hold over Spota or the other way around? It all starts with the Pius case.
 
Yes but what about the dead 15 year old in Brentwood who was dumped with a blanket tied around his neck? Or John Valentine the kid dumped in Rockaway in the mickey mouse blanket? No one cares about a ton of adult males dumped either it's not JUST prostitutes that get ignored

Believe it or not but I really try to be responsible when I throw my thoughts around. I believe it all started with the Pius case. I think Burke holds over Spota. I heard from someone that was around during that time and knows what was rumored about back then.

I had one theory, now this is another. I am in a constant stage of adjusting my opinions as new and interesting information comes to my attention.

I can't say what and who the other person that may be involved in this because it wouldn't be fair to that person. Not that this person deserves any consideration, IMHO. It is really quite startling.

Just think about it for yourself and ask yourself if there was a connection that joins Spota and Burke at the hip then what could it be. For now you can put the idea that Spota and Burke were lovers out of your heads.
 
The EVIL DEVIL. I know one of those. The hampster is probably running on the wheel as we speak. Paraniod and delusional. Sometimes revealing. A real TWIST.
 
I don't think Burke came into the Pius case because he was a good citizen that wanted to do the right thing. More likely he was brought in after being caught in some sort of crime. He is not the only one that was brought in, there were 4 others. One of them was his neighbor Danny C from up the block. Danny was a burglar and continued being a burglar a late as a few years ago when he went to jail and has since come out. As one person involved in that mess told me when I asked him who else should I speak to he said, "Go see Danny, Burke and him are as thick as thieves."

Now let us assume Jimmy was caught doing something bad. He was only 14 at the time and one could expect Mom and Dad *don't know if a dad was around. step in to help their little boy. A lot of interaction between all concerned and the next thing you know the friendship gets much closer than it should be..

When I was writing all those stories about my son in law's case I didn't quite get it to you why I was writing about it in great detail. It was really a GPS to most that has already occurred, before, during, and since that case. Trust me that once you understand that case you will understand everything.

IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT BURKE AND SPOTA WITH SPOTA protecting Burke.
 
Hawk, The only possible scenario I can come up with at the moment is that Some big shot's kid did it and Dad asked Jack Nicholson to help get his kid off the hook. So Jack then made a deal with young Matt Damon, "listen kid, do me this favor, blame it all on some other kid. Lie. Tell 'em another kid bragged about the murder of that little boy and I will personally see to it that you are taken care of all along right up the ranks. One dirty hand washes the other kid. This is the beginning of a blood pact partnership. That is, until the Fed's indict you and you start singing like a castrated canarie."

Plausible????
 
I wonder what the other cops were thinking when JB was strutting his stuff around like a puffed up rooster and bragging that the beating he gave the kid reminded him of his youthful days as a tough dirty cop. WHAT? You beat up a guy CHAINED to the floor!!!!! That young man could have kicked his missing gun belt off his AXX and more in a FAIR fight. He should be ASHAMED! (That is if what he is alleged of doing is true.)
 
PLAUSIBLE? With those people involved ANYTHING is PLAUSIBLE. We do believe there is one person of note that is believed to have stuffed things down Pius Jr.'s throat - cigarettes. The idea someone shoved stones down John's throat never felt quite right with me. The idea each of the 4 kids took the time to put a rock in the kid's throat ?????? You have to consider the M.E. that performed the autopsy is one of them - or could have been one of them. They had a M.e. that didn't even have a license. One person questioned whether if the stones, whatever size and number they were wasn't picked up when the kid's body was dragged to its final resting place.

The testimony that Burke gave in that case is TEXTBOOK example as to how they use the Half-Lie to support the bigger lie. They did EXACTLY the same think in my son in law's case. When I read the grand jury testimony of Burke's neighbor I almost fell out of the chair.

Someone might be interested in getting a notch on their belt for catching a serial killer. And their picture on the front page news. I can hope.

He is now on death row in Nevada. This guy was in my kitchen when he was a detective (before he got caught as a serial killer). He worked with my brother. You know how they finally nailed him? A combination of dogged police work and A TIP!!!!
 
@Emre. If you feel strongly in your heart that justice has screwed up then DON'T GIVE UP fighting for the truth. Maybe you can contact a law professor and suggest he or she use this case in one of their courses.

I don't know him personally. But you have made several references to the Marty Tankleff case. I finally googled it recalled watching a documentary on it several years ago and had a huge crush on the detective JS. That was the eye fluttering thing. I'm a married old lady now. Celebrities and movie stars never did it for me, but street smart, intelligent, seasoned "good" detectives get this Ole heart pumping.
 
IMO Mary Tankleff was a sacraficial lamb. The fix was in. It makes me wonder if Gary Millius son faced the same fate if Gary did not survive? Or would he just face suspicion? Will this case be solved? Not if politics has a say in the matter.
