This was tweeted after his tweet about a presser, for context.
My heart is racing!

I encourage you all to watch the presser anyway you can. I've learned my lesson y'all. Make a backup copy for posterity because this is akin to snapchat.

I am kicking myself right now. Thank goodness for MsM's synopsis. But still....

Do not! You are FANTASTIC and we LOVE YOU!

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I highly, highly doubt it was a cougar. The woods aren't big enough and are too close to people. My grandma lives 2 hours away where cougars are located, and they are in wooded areas that are very large and a few miles away from any residential areas.

My mom lives right by Pinson and there is no way she would move there if cougars lived in the woods.

In my area of CO mountain lions do come down to residential and populated areas. Here are some examples:

#BREAKING: Noah added to National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website — http://bit.ly/1Qmdly6

Maybe that's the big news? That Noah's been added to the Missing and Exploited Children website... That wouldn't be big, IMO.

Oh no.... I hope it's not bad news. Big news is ok.. bad news not ok!

I think that's it since someone from the center is attending the pc. Hopefully we'll get the details. 20 more minutes...

They just issued a weather alert for that area of ice and snow moving in. Maybe they are going to call off the search for now or something.

My son is a climber too, it's crazy how high kids can get. But climbing trees are a lot different from climbing household items. Even if the branches are small enough and within reach, he'd still have to have the coordination and balance for climbing uneven branches, and that's ignoring the things like how damp leaves or branches would make it even more challenging. I'm not saying he couldn't have climbed a tree, but find it so unlikely that I don't consider it worth any serious thoughts.

Don't think there are any marshy areas. The bigger problem would be the rains causes ditches and other low areas to flood. Some areas that were bone dry the day before can turn into a small pond/late over night. However, they have stated that they have checked any ponds/flooded areas and it was clear.

I feel confident that mine could've climbed a tree, but not a tree like the ones found in that area. As you drive south out of Jackson towards Pinson and see those tall, tall trees on either side of the road, they just don't seem like the kind of trees a child could climb. Branches are too high and the distance between them too great. I think a child who sneaked away from someone would just take off walking and bumbling along as fast as they could go, not stop and climb, unless while waiting on grandma they looked up and saw a tree to climb right there where they were standing. At least that is what mine would have done.

I agree - it really is not a very likely scenario that he went up.

Good to know about marshy areas. I've seen the area from the car much more than on foot so while it's familiar, I'm certainly no expert.

Yow, you're right! I can't see the search continuing in that - so risky for everyone.

My heart is pounding too at the mention of "a big one". If this turns out to be the same as the other pressers where there was no news, I don't know what I'll do....maybe call the sheriff a few names...

Thank you to all of you all over the world for caring and posting about Noah it reinforces there is kindness in the world. All posts and updates regarding the press conference will be much appreciated.

I don't want to go down that rabbit hole again! We went through several sets of threads with the debate of cougar vs child on DeOrr Kunz Jr.'s case. The new PI firm conclusively resolved the issue stating it was NOT an animal attack (after the sheriff plainly stated it many, many times). Yes, there are mountain lions. No, they could not eat a child and not leave signs of being in the area.

I feel the same way.. Even if all the conditions were right, I don't think your average two year old is going to think to climb trees, especially when they're scared.

Please delete if this isn't allowed. The address of the search is public information. This is the listing of the house on Zillow. http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1885-Short-Rd-Pinson-TN-38366/66588587_zpid/
It shows a picture of the terrain which gives an idea of the path that Noah could have been on when they were out in the woods. It's pretty open in that area. You would be able to see a ways with no leaves or vegetation.
