Sini wasted no time in signaling he was intent on turning the department around. Among his first moves was announcing plans to invite the FBI to work more closely on the Long Island Serial Killer case, gang investigations and other probes. More recently, he unveiled plans to revamp the internal affairs unit, crack down on drug houses, and hinted at an upcoming “unprecedented” law enforcement partnership.
 
Momoffourboys, you can make anything look good on paper. This might be short lived. It will be back to playing musical chairs when Spota is out and Sini is in.
 
Sini left the US attorney's office to be the unpaid assistant to Rich Schaffer, The county Democrat Party leader. It is my opinion that Schaffer is at the core of ALL the corruption in Suffolk County. Sini seems to be a nice enough fellow but can he do the job and not brook any political interference? I don't think so.

BUT has SINI or anyone addressed the "Elephant" In the Room? Is anyone going to talk about BURKE? Is anyone, including Spota going to say anything? Has anyone addressed the incestuous relationships of ALL the party's concerned. It is ALL bull-dong.
 
Three investigators from Spotas office will be going in front of the grandjury in the illegal wiretapping case.
 
Hawk, is this one of the stories that was in the hopper and ready to go? And is there still a storm thats going to roll in?
 
There are so many I lose count. The one in the Times was a pretty big one. The Curious Case of Macedonio was another one. The reporter never bothered to write why and how he got the story because he probably thought no one would believe it. But I know how he got it because I gave it to him.

There is another one waiting to be launched on WPIX and maybe Newsday.

I have to see a TV guy next week.

I knew a lot of cops with side jobs, especially back in the day when they didn't get paid so much, but this takes the cake.
 
@deedee I have believed for quite a long time that the Gilgo Beach murders were some kind of sadistic territory warning to escorts/prostitutes from out of the area working on their own or working- girls that became a problem to their pimp. I still hold on to that belief now more than everl
