This is interesting in that one of the victims had been involved in drug trafficking. He and his girlfriend had 4 kids, none of whom were harmed during the murder.

Happened just a couple of weeks before the Rhodens were killed.
He had an organized crime conviction. She worked at a nursing home. Kids weren't hurt. Shot in sleep. Eerily similar!

This is very interesting. Didn't LM hint at a nursing home knowing what happened? I wonder if these two have any ties to anyone the Rhoden's worked for? There sure are a lot of unsolved murders around there for it to be a coincidence. What are the odds of an area having so many?

Listened carefully to the slowed down tape (the end of the 911 call)

http://picosong.com/Bqva/

and I hear a woman crying then saying "How could someone do (?) (unintelligible.) After a brief pause a deeper voice asks, "What's wrong?"

Not sure how to do this let me know if this is ok, my first post. Did anyone see that they are moving the crime scenes (houses)

The couple was shot in their beds, kids weren't hurt, and in Kentucky. I wonder why people are just hearing about this now. That's three homes now, the Rhodens, Candy and her teen daughter, and now this couple just 15 days before the Rhodens.

I wonder if there's anything or anyone that all these victims have in common? The links here tonight are the first ive seen about
the Kentucky couple.

It's less than two hours away, maybe this is one of the things Junk said about not putting the search warrants public, because it would interfere with other investigations.

The atomic plant is in Piketon. The vehicles/trailers/etc. are in Waverly.

Behind a chain link fence adjacent to Relevant Compounding LLC's warehouse where evidence and the crime scenes are being held are several vehicles, a tractor-trailer, dump trucks, a backhoe, several all-terrain vehicles and other equipment. http://www.chillicothegazette.com/s...nty-mobile-homes-moved-crime-scenes/84294598/

Agreed. This article contains a paragraph which provides the context for the quote: http://www.logandaily.com/news/dewi...cle_7bd9401e-7ad2-53c1-8228-87f4514566c6.html

Just in case anyone needs a reminder....the FBI is involved.

“We have been in contact with the DEA and the FBI. Our office works with them many times, daily. They are providing technical expertise,” said DeWine. “We work closely with our federal partners, just as we do our county partners ... "

Don't know where this is going to show up in this thread.

Yes, I fully expect all the applicable agencies, and more, to be resourced in a concerted effort to solve this vicious massacre ... !!

I read on the gossip forum, that they may have taken the trailers so they are available and intact for a jury to walk through, tbh, i find that very plausible and i was thinking along the same lines but i just couldnt word it correctly in my head.

Are you allowed to share any names of other sites? I learned of WS through one, who's name I won't mention, and am sure glad I did. You all are very knowledgeable and thorough. Keep up the great work.

No, don't name it. And don't drag any of the rumor, innuendo, or conjecture from there here.

There's no discussion here of baby's fathers, no disparaging remarks about victims, no calling out of living family' members, etc. Leave that all there.

When I heard about the murder two weeks before- and the kids were not hurt that shocked me. So I wondered how common that is - only found a couple - and one seems like might have been spared casue they hid?

Got curious about Pike clouties crime rates. Here is what I learned:

Interestingly, it, on average, is 93% safer than anywhere else in USA! It takes in population so it results in an accurate relationship!

You can put your own zip code in !

I was three times more likely to be slaughtered where I live than if I lived in Pike County!!

Check yours!!

I also think the nursing home angle is related to Fentanyl

This may seem like a dumb question, but with moving the trailers & I'm assuming trying to preserve evidence in them, how are they getting all of the furniture, etc. in the trailers from not moving??? Especially the beds where they were murdered in?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A friend of our family sold his house on the farm and the people moved it to their land. The mover's put a cup of water on the kitchen table to prove how smooth and gentle the whole move is. It was still in the same place. These people are good at what they do.
This is a new article I believe.
Piketon homes where 8 were shot to death are moved to preserve crime scenes
Dana Rhoden’s home has a basement and a built-on deck so it will take longer to move, but that should happen in the next couple of days, the attorney general’s office said.
All were hauled to inside a secure building at the chemical plant in Waverly that has been transformed into the investigation's command center.
Tony Rhoden, the brother of Kenneth and Chris Sr., said Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine told his family it should be able to regain control of the land early next week, after that last home has been moved.
I don't recall this being released. That could make a huge difference. There could be hours between some of the murders. Chris Sr. could have been moved so GR didn't see him immediately
when he walked in. When GR saw the blood and went to check, he was shot. KR could have been dead hours before or after the others. Way too many scenarios...
