GUILTY UK - Sylvia, 69, & Peter Stuart (dec'd), 75, Weybread, Suffolk, 28 May 2016

Local paper: http://www.dissmercury.co.uk/news/w...ter_stuart_thought_to_be_son_in_law_1_4565319

They were such a quiet couple. I had seen them about but they did not come to local events. It is very sad

The last murder in the village was in the same road - in 1858 so no connection.

Police have been digging in the Paxman's garden, and removed several rifles: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/weybread-murder-hope-fading-fast-8127980

AQ was a former boyfriend of SP's stepmother, which explains the connection: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/kosovan-murder-suspect-former-lover-8129147

Police are seeking a European arrest warrant for AQ, who may be using a previous alias, Marco Costa. He is believed to be a Kosovan refugee. They deny yesterday's press story that he had been involved with SP's stepmother:

He said there was no evidence to support reports that Qazimaj had a relationship with the mother of the Stuarts’ son-in-law. “That is bizarre. We have got nothing at all which corroborates that in any way,” he said.

He said police were investigating the places where Qazimaj worked for clues as to Sylvia Stuart’s whereabouts. “He was forklift truck driver in the Purfleet area. We are trying to get as much information as we can do about places he may have worked from past employees etc to try and understand potentially where Sylvia may be.”

They think it increasingly likely that Sylvia has also been killed.

What a cast of villains!

I was hoping Sylvia had indeed run off with this Ali guy, that she was escaping a bad marriage. But it seems the police think she's dead too.

Thanks for keeping the thread updated, Ellmau. Feel free to add it to the UK index below, might get more members popping in to help.

I heard about this briefly on the local news; didn't realise it was so complicated though! wow

Thanks to all for the updates. I was following the case from the beginning but as it evolved I found it very confusing. I'm no clearer but came to the thread to catch up. Hopefully Silvia will be found soon.

Apologies for the incorrect spelling of Sylvia above, auto correct to blame and have only just noticed now. Too late to edit :blushing:
