It has never been stated by police or reported in MSM who in fact registered KP Drilling Exploration. It was registered in the name of Karlie Jade Stephenson on 1st January 2011 and cancelled on 30 September 2015 with a totally different ABN to that of DH/DJM/DJB. The main business location postcode was 5116 which encompasses Evanston, Evanston Gardens, Evanston Park, Evanston South and Hillier, South Australia (near Adelaide).

Why does the name KP Drilling Exploration necessarily have anything at all to do with drilling and exploration? It may just have been a name that appealed to someone who wanted to use the trading name for their own means to launder money etc. and more importantly to conceal the fact that Karlie had been murdered three years earlier.

It may be that DH had nothing to do with the registration of KP Drilling Exploration and there are others involved besides Passmore. Police have stated that they are looking at more than one person (DH) who was involved in the murders or Karlie and Khandalyce.

Police had previously wanted to speak to a man who was earlier seen with the suitcase, but Detective Superintendent Bray said the man was now seen as "largely irrelevant".

"If we knew who he was, we would still talk to him, but we don't think he has any bearing on the case," Detective Superintendent Bray said.

Detective Superintendent Willing said it was a "very intense investigation" and police had followed up a lot of leads.

Business records also revealed that Holdom registered as a sole trader in April 2001 and at various times based his business in Charnwood in the ACT, the NSW Central Coast, Alice Springs in the Northern Territory and Elizabeth in South Australia.

Was that residence in Hillier? I know there was an MSM report on it as I distinctly remember a female neighbour of theirs appearing briefly on a news report late last year when HP was being questioned by investigators.

Whomever registered KP Exploration Drilling may have used Karlie's TFN. As far as I can remember, wasn't a suitcase found at DH's sister's house in Charnwood ACT, containing Karlie's personal papers?

They left abruptly in 2011 leaving behind their possessions, including a shrine to her two children killed in a car crash, and her prosthetic leg.

Dear little girl. She would've been the same age as my granddaughter. William Tyrell has his 5th birthday this month, too. He's the same age as my grandson. Superintendent Bray said Karlie left Alice Springs in 2008 with her daughter to travel and find work.
They were last seen in November of that year, driving on the Stuart Highway near Coober Pedy.
He said their movements after that were a mystery.
Police believe they also travelled to Darwin, Adelaide and throughout the Murray and Riverland districts.
"Karlie and Khandalyce travelled extensively from Darwin through central Australia, Adelaide, probably through Victoria, Canberra and the Riverland," Superintendent Bray said.
"So what we need is friends and associates to come forward."
He asked owners of motels, hotels and caravan parks to check their records to see if the mother and daughter stayed at their business anytime since 2006.
