With him purchasing the shovel after the fact and in general seeming to make it up on the fly, it looks like something set him off rather than this being pre-planned, like if she knew (or he misunderstood her) his ex. Also based on his description of being a parachute rigger for the Army, I wonder if he was honorably or dishonorably discharged and if he had a bad service record, if it could be related to what happened here (like with the Dallas police shooter Micah Johnson).

I read he was in the army less than 1 yr.

Also odd, Cox said, was the Tweet posted from Vandagriff’s account after she had been found dead. The tweet said “I never knew I could feel like this,” and was posted at 11:22 p.m. on Sept. 15.

The tweet added an eerie element to the crime but also provided a potential piece of crucial evidence, Cox said.

“This was a clumsily controlled crime scene,” Cox said. “This was not a crime that was planned. I think it was totally a haphazard event.”

She was mentioned as someone they met at the bar and went bar hopping with, but not much more than that.
 
IMO I don't believe he's killed before. He was so sloppy in every aspect, I mean come on, he bought a shovel at 4 am after he was seen leaving with her, AND stood over the fire as he burned her(while his car was atleast in eyesight since the witness saw that too) that in no way says he's done this before.. And WOW does this guy have enough knifes/guns?! Even if you don't count the kitchen knifes! And zip ties with hair in it? I really hope he didn't kill her how I think he did ☹️ Also, I think he may be bi the stuff men comment on his pics just gives me that feeling.. I understand working at a gay bar, but approving people from the bar and letting those comments stay there isn't something a I could see a 30 year old straight man.. JMO but feels like one of those 'trying to escape real feelings' kinda vibes... He HAD to prove he isn't to himself that's why he HAD to have a gf, HAD to have her specifically as his gf.. All MOO..

The ex girlfriend has been named in an article I read recently , she does not resemble Jackie in the slightest , brunette , tall , very thin and fit , a very immature look even for an 18 year old , which would tie in with the child *advertiser censored* they found in his mobile devices / computer . Immature looking women seem to be his thing . Also , on the list of 133 items seized from his home , one was a bone fragment found in a burn Pitt , which they are test to see if it's human , if so it may be a separate murder and this was not his first rodeo . When he met Jackie he was hanging out at that bar - just happened to be across the street from the ex's school .

I think ink he took her home and she rejected him / he snapped , or this is what he does and was taking his frustration over the stalking charge on the first person he ran across .
Creepy all around

I first heard of this case over Facebook as he and is share a mutual friend and I noticed an article about his arrest and his friend saying " hope this isn't true "

I noticed this too before his IG went private , a friend of his posted it to a comment under a status he had made shortly after killing Jackie , she pointed out that it was a year to the day that he posted the neck scratching photo on IG. IF those bone fragments are human ( from the burn pit ) and he HAS killed before , perhaps the date is significant ..
It just keeps getting creepier ...

So disgusting. I hope he isn't found mentally ill and doesn't stand trial. He needs to be eradicated from this earth. It's just unfortunate that our tax dollars have to pay to feed and house him.

Okay, that video, in the context of who sent it and when it was sent, is downright creepy -- to the nth degree.
How horrifying to think that he committed this very up close and personal murder and then continued to post all this weird shiz.

I also wondered about the roommate. And where did he dismember her??? If it was at the house, how did he kill her, dismember her, shop for the shovel, transport her to the park, in such a small amount of time? That's why I have to wonder if he had done this before, or had a plan -- maybe it was for his ex-gf but he did it to Jackie instead.
Poor Jackie. I can only hope that he killed her quickly and she didn't suffer.

So I have been reading and following this so much...I had not updated here...But what I found out by speaking to people he knew as well as the ex knew, was that the room mate was at his girlfriend's house when it happened....I also heard the murder took place in his car...kiddy pool was the way he transported her body to the park....got the pool from his home and did whatever dismembering there and then took her to the park. If he choked her or whatever she wouldnt look dead in his car while he drove..

The last person he followed on IG MAY of been a different ex...the ex he was stalking didnt look like Jackie.
