Oh remember...thanks. i thought it was why he put on patio. So put her on patio as apposed to putting her out front door. Oh god i wish he had. Perhaps he wanted her to settle down but bad choice. I did not like those recordings before he did.

I personally don't think he wanted her to settle down. Nothing he did helped her to do so, in those final moments.

If anyone "escalated" the situation, it was Tostee. "Shut your filthy mouth" he says, after demanding she say something, before dragging her out there, and doing whatever he did for 70 seconds to make her scream "NONONO" 33 times.

He states VERY clearly that he put her out there and would NOT let her go home because -- "she was a bad girl".

Whatever the outcome, he's still a dangerous psycho with basically no regard for the law or human life (not his own, not his friends in the DUI, the 200kpm an hour car chase, not the TWO women he terrorised on that balcony) no respect for women in general, no compassion... and I am glad his face and that terrible recording are all over the media, Like a warning.

Did we ever find out how many of Warriena's handprints were on the balcony? I could imagine with her being three times over the limit she would have had to use a bit of effort to lift herself up over the balcony and then to hang on and try to lower herself. I'm thinking there would be handprints everywhere!

Good point! I would like to know where the print was found. If it was found near/next too the sun bed, maybe that's why the crown went with WW going over the rail herself?

I hope everyone understands there is a ledge on the outer-side of the balcony railing, wide enough for one to stand on or sit on or use to lower yourself down. Its not just a balcony railing.

"Self defence" etc... I hope the jury is clear on the FACT that W did NOT "try" to "swing" that alleged object at Tostee until well and truly AFTER he "tackled her" to that floor and was assaulting her.

I hope they eyeball those little tiny rocks, and Tostee's tiny red marks that could have happened during sex, or the rough play during which he "hurt" W's vagina and laughed and did not sound distressed.

I hope they take into account HOW W ended up so excessively drunk that she was talking nonsense and seemed 'unstable'. .

I hope they ponder the FACT that W at least twice said she was leaving, and both times complained about items missing, and both times Tostee lulled her into staying.

I hope they take note that W wanted to call the police on her date and said so, just prior to her death.

I hope they put together the timing of her pitiful screams of "NO" with the timing of that door opening and closing. I hope they listened very very carefully.

I can't think too hard about her poor Mum and sis, sitting there, looking at T's fat smug head right now. I just cannot.
Yes! All of this!!
And in his own words she couldn't go because she has been a BAD girl.
This. Case. Drives. Me. Nuts.

I've dated a number of women in my time who needed restraining for their own good while they were so heavily intoxicated. Those screams in the recording I have heard before, and the behaviour I have been on the recieving end of too. I may have even said "you've been a bad girl" before throwing them out onto the back deck and slamming the door shut in sheer frustration!!! Good thing I've only ever lived on ground floors, otherwise this might have been me.

Thank you for your honesty. I don't think this could have been you though. Because I hope you weren't secretly recording your dates, hiding their phones threatening to Chuck them over the balcony or knock them out. I trust you are a gentleman and wouldn't do those things.

I'm new to this so here goes my first post: so glad someone mentioned the ledge on the other side of the rail. I think he put her there. I'm also wondering about the location of his phone during the recording, was it in his pocket? If so, he'd have two hands free to place her there with ease. I think GT "gets off" on his recordings and that's why he always does it. I think he was into making snuff movies and the reason he fed his victims copious amounts of alcohol was to render them in an almost unconscious, lifeless state. I'm so disappointed that the Prosecution are agreeing with the defence's story of what happened and it seems the whole verdict depends on whether the jury think she was terrified enough to jump or her actions were just unreasonable. I can't understand why the audio hasn't been pulled apart and examined. I honestly think if this case was being held in another state there'd be an entirely different direction from the prosecution. I think it's time we all got our criminal law degrees!

I'm glad you've brought that up. Seems even more illogical that Warriena would try to climb to the balcony below. JMO

Two questions, Whatson. Firstly, if you had the choice of restraining an inebriated guest of either gender and escorting them out of one of two doors; one that led to a 14-storey drop or the other that led to your common hallway; which would you choose? Secondly, would you become aggressive with another person as quickly as GT became with Warriena? Serious questions.

As the New Zealand tourist screams, “No, no, no” 33 times and pleads for him to “please let me go home” in audio recordings, the accused Tinder-date killer is motionless.

“I would, but you’ve been a bad girl,” his voice echoes across the courtroom from the audio recording before he locks the balcony door.

Occasionally he will shake his head as Crown prosecutor Glen Cash QC argues the case against him. He is rarely bothered by the dozens of journalists or observers in the courtroom.

Well lets hope what ever it was he was shaking his head about is what nails him.
imo

AFAIK only one but combined with a witness' account that she could only see a small part of Warriena's legs with her feet facing away from the building, then Warriena doing a twisting motion, followed by seeing more of her legs being visible with her feet pointing in toward the building, I would hazard a guess that GT put her outside the railing in a sitting position and Warriena tried to reach backward for the railing whilst turning so she could get back onto the balcony proper. Instead, IMO she failed to grasp the railing with both hands, couldn't hold on with one hand and fell 14-storeys to her death.

The accused’s neighbour also told the court they saw Ms Wright clingling to a concrete ledge, saying that she wanted to go home.

Yes the ledge was mentioned in a tweet way back . Its somewhere on here....:moo:
Makes it even more likely the neighbour below could NOT see if anyone was standing on the balcony. I'm starting to believe GT placed Warriena on the railing and she turned herself around and gripped the ledge. There's no way a person could swing their way in to the balcony area below.

THIS! :takeabow: :drama:
“I think she thought it was like a joke or something but she kept like beating me up,” Totee was heard telling his father.

“I forced her off onto the balcony and I think she might have jumped off.

“Like a million cops around my building, I’m *advertiser censored**** I don’t know what to do,” Tostee continued.

EDIT: You're right Kitsune, maybe Warriena wanted to go across?
