I read somewhere that the car was pulled out of a ravine. I imagine that it was covered in dirt and possibly the boulders he mentioned moving around on his fb page. I am out and about, so posting on the run, so hard for me to pull links to show where I read what, but didn't he mention filling in a ravine so it could be crossed? If you zoom in you can tell around the bumper and back tail end that there are spots of white showing. In SC the ground is mostly red clay, but TK mentioned having fill dirt delivered, which would be brown.

As I posted earlier, the vehicle appears to have been amateurishly spray-painted brown to disguise its identity. You can see areas where the paint was scraped away revealing white underneath.

Hey Foxfire, I also was thinking of the same article after reading that psych eval of TK.

On p 10 of the psych eval at your link, the author describes a neighbor mother who contacted her and told her the year before, TK (then about 14 yo) had locked her son in a dog kennel cage, laughing while her son was screaming & crying, as TK rolled the cage with son enclosed around the property.

Also, on another occasion, she told the author how TK had grabbed her son by his hair and began banging his head against clay pipes.

I didn't hear of this case until yesterday, and I have about 10 pages to read through here.
But I am FLOORED by this Todd 'person'.
I can't believe how overt he is, and how it seems that it didn't raise red flags for anyone. I find myself wondering if we knew nothing of him other than his FB, if flags would be raised. He come across as weird, and a bit creepy, but heck, a lot of us post creepy stuff. My daughter adores weird morbid things, and her page is full of them, but if you show her a puppy she is going to melt into a big mess of cuteness. So I try to take that with a grain of salt.
But the Amazon reviews? They look like a bored kid decided to play serial killer and put together a twisted list for their own amusement. And I am sure that it WAS for his own amusement, but in context of what we know now... just wow.
The FB tauntings as Charlie... the note from the judge from when he was only 16? Wow wow wow.
I've never seen anything like this. Serial killers with land to do what they like? Sure. JDW comes to mind as the most recent. But a potential serial killer/rapist/deviant/i don't want to know what else who speaks of torture and the like as if it's nothing, who pretends to be their victims on social media? Nope.

I kind of just want to go play with my new grand puppy and never open this thread again. (Because someone DID show my kid a cute puppy, and she melted and kept her)

All of the reviews of the creepiest stuff are 'verified reviews'. I think I was hoping he was just being 'funny' and didn't actually buy a lot of this stuff. Given that KB is repeatedly said to have been tied up like a dog, even the pet food bowl gives me the screaming willies.
And he's got a very pricey pair of night vision goggles on his wish list.

In between his purchases and statements, via Amazon or FB, I think he bought this property for the sole reason of having a place to murder and torture and goodness knows what else. Defensive berms and tunnels, padlocks and guns.

Nice little brick house with a beemer in the burbs for the work week... murder farm on the weekends. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

JW contacted real estate board. The board had repeated complaints and had to bring TK in several times. TK fled the county to practice real estate somewhere else.

JW contacted Spartanburg about his sex offender status and owning guns. Police told JW that TK had special permission to own a gun.

JW doesn't understand how someone that violent has access to our homes.

TK applied for real estate license with state in 2006. He said yes was convicted but only a verbal argument.

JW angry that TK continued to practice real estate which gave him the money to build the compound to torture people.

Law for real estate background checks started in 2014.

Another really creepy thing to me is how somewhere online I saw that TK was 'investing in a wildlife refuge for a new generation,' or something to that effect. Maybe it was on his linkedin page (?) - apologies, but I'm not able to search for it or post a link right now. With fb posts referencing animals, which seem in hindsight to possibly have a double meaning, plus the comments a neighbor have made indicating that TK wanted to move to his big property and fence it in, this is very disturbing to say the least! All of this is, obviously.

Has anyone here read "The Most Dangerous Game"? It's a short story about a rich guy who lives on island and hunts humans as if he were on safari (big game hunting). I know this is kind of out there but I'm getting that vibe from all of this. Yeah right he was setting up an animal refuge for future generations. NOT! This guy doesn't do anything for anyone but himself. Anything is possible at this stage.

I only heard about this case this morning on GMA and then I mentioned it on the James Dean Worley board and then I searched on here and found the original missing thread number one and it's been impossible to read everything so now I just cut through towards the end to the recent developments since this morning.. but what a horrific case this is! oh my God! Special permission to own a gun? I'd love to known on what grounds that special permission was granted. That doesn't even make sense to me, given his prior history and conviction. WOW

Kadoober, some serial sexual predators and twisted killer names synonymous with TK' profile that come to mind is Michael J Klunder, Brandon Scott Lavergne, Gary M Hilton, and Austin Sigg, 17 who fortunately was identified and caught early in his trail of terror after only one deceased victim; JR.. Social media was only in its infancy in 2007 when the public was allowed to join facebook, and soon after Twitter, etc. GMH mentioned above actually wrote the script for a serial killer movie which was released to video in 1994; Deadly Run/hunting humans.. produced by S Rael; his defense attorney.. He was 62 years old when arrested in 2008.

Although advancements in dna and other technology has improved investigation techniques by law enforcement. It seems that these mis-underestimated prolific predators are becoming more elusive too.. Psychopaths are many times of above average intelligence and are very calculating, manipulative, creative, and deflective.. In my opinion and from observations, they will often times communicate with taunting riddles..

Sure hope that SC authorities invite the FBI BAU2 in on this investigation...
