Atlantic City Eastbound Strangler 4 Women Found Dead behind Motel Egg Harbor Twp, Nov 2006

How did you figure out exactly where they were? Did they say it and I missed it? I'm curious to take a ride by and check it out.
There is a scene where they are driving to the site and you can see their laptop showing the map. Also, I knew the windmills were back there -- they show up on Google Earth. And also, the marina area casinos show up in the show in the background.

I would personally like to invite this sick freak to my doorstep. I know an egomaniac such as youself is reading post on this forum. So why dont you grow up and stop picking on poor defensless women. Why dont you come take a poke at me, Atlantic City Strangler. But i know you wont because your a coward and a spineless loser. My heart goes out to the victims families of these poor woman.

The city bought up all the properties in the area they are going build on it. So they are demoing as they buy.
Interesting how they also demolished (just last year) the Golden Key motel. All the evidence in AC is being destroyed.

I didn't pay attention to the laptop, maybe I'll rewatch and take a better look. I saw the windmills, marina casinos, and the marshy area and that immediately reminded me of the view you can see from the dock in Absecon or the other side of that area, where it backs up to the water like that. I was thinking if he was taking the girls some place date like as a lure, that would be the perfect spot. And it's not a far ride back to the BHP. JMO.

I listened to the recent websleuths podcast with Josh & Rachel and one of the guests interviewed was Mark Mueller author of “Getting away with murder: the Atlantic City prostitute killings 10 years later” on NJ.com. The link to that article has already been posted on this thread earlier.

Among the insights that he divulged about the investigation at the time of the discoveries was that room 101 at The Golden Key was not initially investigated as a possible crime scene. In fact, according to Mr. Mueller's sources, it was a full month after the discovery of the bodies that room 101 was finally dusted for prints and given the forensic once-over.

Understand that upwards of 50 detectives were assigned to this case so it was no small time investigation. Did one of the detectives working the case finally look back at The Golden Key from the dirt road behind the motel and say “Hey look, there's a back door to one of the rooms, maybe we should look into it?”

Is it because that particular room has a back door that has led to all the speculation that the killings must have also occurred in that room? Because, quite frankly, that's pretty flimsy evidence to go on.

I've seen the Dark Minds episode as well about The Eastbound Strangler and that show would have us believe that non-stop parties were going on in room 101 while dead female bodies where piling up in the room like so much firewood. I can see it now: “Yo Sammy, toss a few of those stiff ones out in the ditch out back will ya', it's getting' kinda ripe in here.”.

Other than what I've mentioned above there's very little evidence, to date, that might lead one to believe that four women were actually killed inside The Golden Key. At least as far as I know. No credible witness accounts have surfaced placing them at The Golden Key prior to their deaths. I'm sure it had to be one of the first questions asked by investigators.

I will admit, though, that it is compelling to buy into the Room 101 narrative simply based on the fact that the first body discovered in the ditch was located directly behind that mysterious room. Which then leads to the question: Would the killer really be that lazy?

As always, just my opinion.

I just watched Dark Minds, The Eastbound Strangler. Although interesting to watch, I felt it was very misleading. Several prostitutes were interviewed and one of them said that 2 black males and a white male had picked her and a friend up to party. She said that Kim Raffo was there with them and the men were acting strange. She said she saw 2 bodies in the bed (which she believed to be Molly Dilts and Barbara Breidor) She said she left after she got bad vibes and it was the last time she saw Kim. The next week she was found. If I am not mistaken, Molly and Barbara were in an advanced state of decomposition? How could they have all been in the same room at the same time and be found in different states of decomp? I think it's BS, and though it makes for good TV, should be thoroughly checked before aired. This woman also said that the 2 men were arrested? I have seen no evidence that 2 men were even questioned in the case besides the maintenance guy, let alone arrested? I also believe that the whole "Eastbound" positioning of the bodies (faces facing East) could all be due to the current of the water in which they were found. I believe that the AC4 and the GB4 are definitely related. I am trying my hardest to piece all of this together. These women do NOT deserve to be forgotten. They need closure and so do their families! Keep working people!
If you want to watch, here it is

Thanks for bringing that theory up. I think it's very far fetched as well.

Hi Rachel,

My compliments on an excellent production. The compassion for the victims that the two of you showed was plainly evident. Hopefully your efforts will inspire others to come forward with information that may break one of these cases. One can only hope.

I think that many people inserted themselves into this case (and GB4) looking for their 15 minutes of fame. That is so wrong to fabricate stories when they are trying to solve a complex crime like this. These women deserve justice. It has been 10 years now for the AC4, you would think the AC Prosecutor's Office would at least hold a press conference and remind people of the reward being offered. They should DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING! 10 years is too long with no answers!
Thanks for bringing that theory up. I think it's very far fetched as well.

I'm not as quick to dismiss Pam covelli's story. Since Bill Schlue has been named in MSM I am going to post this comment I found " Larry, I think it should be noted the C*** Schlue they are looking for is the nephew of G*** Schlue, son of C*** Schlue Jr. (which would make it Carl Schlue III as the wanted one) and Billy Schlue is the one they questioned on the AC Prostitute murder case. G***, C*** and Billy are the " ne'er-do-well Schlue Brothers". Not defending the Schlue's, just trying to set the record straight, if I have my family history on the Schlue's straight. "

On Saturday, August 25th around 11:30 P.M. the Mullica Twp Police were dispatched for a robbery at Coffees Tavern Located on the White Horse Pike in the Elwood section of the Twp. William Schlue allegedly assaulted two females and took their handbags containing cash and credit cards. During the incident Debra Smith was arrested for possession of a handgun. the police Dept charged William Schlue with robbery & assault. Schlue was at large however was located by Barnegate Police on the Monday August 27th. Mr Schlue was additionally charged with theft and possession of stolen property. Schlue was lodged in the Atlantic County Jail in default of $100,000.00 full bail.

FROM THE MULLICA POLICE BLOTTER

On Wednesday, October 4th around 1:30 A.M. a vehicle driven by Jane Scaffidi (born 1958) of Hammonton was traveling east on Route 30 when it was rear ended by a vehicle driven by William Schlue (born 1962) of Egg Harbor City. Mr. Schlue was cited.

First, great series, love how it is unfolding, Rachel and Josh you have done a wonderful job on this.

I think this guy is somewhat local. I don't think he killed them out side. I think he took them to a place he owns, could be a 2nd home, vacation place, but his place. I think he is methodical, like the ritual, and takes some time with them after death. He is comfortable just putting them in a truck and driving up to the canal and placing them in the water. I do think there is some kind of religious element, to all of his routine. Just my thoughts.

The term "River Man" could be more than an homage to the Green River Killer. This pseudonym is also the title of a song by Nick Drake.

"Is it a coincidence that like this song many other songs by other artists about a "river" are about sorrow, pain, death and other forms of tragedy; is this perhaps the common stream in mankind."

"This song is not just about the seductiveness of quiet desperation and despair; it's a kind of metaphor in music for the seductiveness of quiet desperation and despair. The music moves along--I was going to say languidly, but that word sounds to leisurely, and there is nothing in this song that hints at leisure--like the drifting of a seemingly slow and melancholy, yet inescapable, river current."

It bears some eerie resemblances to T.S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock".

Every decade or so a bit of new information emerges about this case that gets one to thinking. New revelations concerning the last hours of the last victim, Kim Raffo, were published in an article by Mark Mueller at NJ.com.

http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2016/11/10_years_later_the_atlantic_city_serial_killer_rem.html

The article states: “One day before her death, Raffo was with a customer, a North Jersey doctor, who had a room at the now-shuttered Trump Taj Mahal. At about 5 a.m. on Nov. 19, the law enforcement official said, Raffo told the man she was going out to buy drugs and would return. When she did not, the doctor called her several times, receiving no answer.

Using Raffo's cell phone records, investigators tracked down and interviewed the doctor, ultimately clearing him of suspicion because surveillance video from the hotel and casino appeared to confirm his account. The man's calls to Raffo were routed to a cell tower on the Black Horse Pike, not far from where the bodies were discovered.

'We don't know if she was alive or dead at that point,' the official said.”

A lot of info in that little disclosure. Mulling it over I came to a few preliminary conclusions.

 • It was 33 hours from the time of her last sighting to the discovery of Ms. Raffo's body on Nov 20th at 3:00 pm on Monday afternoon.
 • Ms. Raffo was not seeking a client at the time she left but was heading out to get high.
 • The client that she had left at the Taj fully expected her to return.
 • Someone transported her to the Golden Key.
 • The calls from her client being routed to a cell tower on the BHP possibly indicate that her phone was either (a) en route to the Golden Key, (b) already at the Golden Key, (c) exiting the Golden Key without it's rightful owner or (d) in the possession of the killer in the vicinity of the BHP. It would be interesting to know exactly when those calls took place.

Theory Time:

For some time now I've come to believe that all four victims were being stalked prior to their death. This new information only confirms my suspicions. When Ms. Raffo left the Taj Mahal she was not seeking a john as she had one comfortably tucked away. Probably a well paying one at that.

When she hit the streets she was looking to score and get high. Someone that she met along the way, probably someone that she knew, might have offered to expedite matters. Maybe a ride to first get the drugs and later to get high in. A fellow drug user who shared a similar lifestyle, someone who could get her into a car without raising her suspicions.

This person shared a ride with her to the Golden Key Motel. Whether she was in the passenger seat or in the trunk is anyone's guess. I'm guessing it's the latter. Why?

Because he's a killer.

Just my opinion.

Bingo. Bingo. Bingo.

The local drug dealers know their customers.

So they would be great witnesses.

But since the mandatory sentences were very high for selling crack. Then I am sure nobody wanted to talk.

Now a dealer usually serve people that is known to the area. So I'm sure some were last seen by dealers before vanishing.

But alot of time went by.

But you still know your customers and the last time you seen them.

The building mgr was cleaning-out his room, threw the torso away, & I retrieved it. As for the shoe sizes, the man is over 6' tall. No way. He told me the shoes were for the girls.

I just watched a Chasing news exclusive which I have not seen before. It focuses on a guy named Dennis G. who make a very compelling suspect.

https://youtu.be/F1_QsM1n1dc

I also watched the Dark Minds Eastbound strangler for the first time.

https://youtu.be/hboa_qB-tdA

I was completely creeped out by the description of what happened at that "party" where there were two guys and 2 bodies in the bed. Wow! That's make me question everything.

TO is still a viable suspect, IMVHO, but something about this girls story rang really true to me.

Apparently the police arrested them (the 2 guys) but had to let them go with no evidence. Who are these two guys? Enquiring minds wanna know?

Does anyone have a link for ID Discovery episode of LISK?

I missed something. Can you explain what torso you're talking about? Sorry you surely explained in an earlier post.Im still catching up. TIA

:Welcome1: Tresna.

You can message Rachel @ Danse_Macabre or any Mod to see what information you have is allowable, but in general we can't name people not named in Main Stream Media, or by Law enforcement.

Hope this helps!
