I'm re-posting the video of the drop-off location and map just for easy review.

That link specifically says a hoax is not being ruled out. NOT BEING RULED OUT. Yet we can't discuss it on a "crime forum"

Because this is a VICTIM FRIENDLY site. At this point, SP is a victim, and her husband and children are victims as well. So calling them fraudsters or liars or criminals is not allowed.

EDIT- abc says he's speaking out to end speculation.

Also looks like sister is at the secret location. Or at least a location that looks very similar

When Keith found Sherri's iphone on the ground he took 2 pictures of it then dialed 911.
 
Family is living in a secret location to safe guard Sherri's privacy.
 
Does anyone know if he called her phone and she didn't answer? I assume he did.
 
Keith look through the house, no kids or wife. Got in his car and drove to the mailbox to find her after looking at Find My iPhone.

No one was there, so he looked down the other street. Nothing there either...started using GPS and find my iPhone to find phone.

Phone was laying right there - obvious - and the earphones were wrapped around it. He snapped two photos and called 911.

No it does not. Reread what it says. He is disputing the article that says it hasn't been ruled out. He says he believes her.

Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko is disputing a Huffington Post story posted late Friday that cites an unnamed source in his department as saying a hoax is not being "ruled out" in Sherri Papini's kidnapping investigation.

"Based on information we have, there's no reason to believe this is not legitimate," Bosenko said. "Since speaking to Papini, based on information we've received, we believe her. We believe that this was an abduction."

Sadly, typical tabloidish type headline that sickens me. I am so disgusted with the way MSM has chosen post "teasers" like this. That article has much more substance than how they CHOSE to spin that quote.

As with most new active investigations, the sheriff is basically saying we haven't ruled ANYTHING out.

Let's try to not take the bait of tabloidish teaser headlines and bite the hook. We're better than that.
 
If I went through what Sherri went through, and a few days later my husband took 4 hours (likely more with transit and such) to interview with 20/20 instead of consoling me.. I'd be upset.

If he said he did, I didn't catch it. He said he came home...nobody greeted him. He looked around the house, nobody. He then tracked Sherri's iPhone and it said it was by mailboxes. He went to mailboxes expecting to see her but didn't. Called daycare to ask when kids were picked up They said kids were still there. He then was certain something was wrong. Found her phone...took two pictures and dialed 911.
