All this talk of the video prompted me to have a look. I apologise is this is not a new angle but I suddenly see something I haven't seen before.

You will need to play/pause/play/pause but starting at 0:17 you see a man walk out carrying something. Jane is highlighted. He walks over to Jane at 0:21 and appears to hand her something.

Is this what you mean. I noticed he has his coller turned up as well like mm. But seems maybe he is getting in to a taxi as a whole group of people went past at that same time. Which also makes me think that JR is not waiting for a taxi as she would have gotten it first seeing as it pulled up right next to her. MOO

I don't know if it was released by police but I think strangulation is probably likely.

I believe SS knew the accused (probably through a friend or relative), who waited patiently for SS to leave then followed and said "hey you better come with me I will give you a lift its dangerous out here". With knowing him she trusted him.

With JR it likely seems like a planned romantic hookup, somewhat secret perhaps like "Hey JR my ex wife is here, so why don't we secretly meet round the corner and Ill drive you home".

As with CG I am less sure, perhaps he knew her or perhaps it was random blitz.

Anyway, once the girls were in the car, he needed a fast and silent way to knock them out with him side to them. I am guessing strangulation......

JMO no factual information to this.

Whilst I don't subscribe to any hidden clue to SS dump site in BRE's "Eagles Nest" post other than joking about the appearance of the new Perth Stadium, however there is one interesting fact.
The Birnies buried their victims at an abandoned timber townsite called Gleneagles which is near Mount Cooke and not far from Mount Dale, which has a Telstra repeater station on top of it. What would be the chances of a coincidence?

Travelling East on Orrong Rd / Welshpool Rd, then turn right into Canning Rd, turn left Karagullen townsite, to Dale Rd follow Rd through forest and follow signage to top of Mt Dale Telstra microwave station.

When you drive along the Graham Farmer freeway (aka the Polly Pipe) away from the city there are overhead signs for Welshpool and Orrong Rd. So I don't think it's odd that he mentioned Welshpool.

I note that Welshpool is next to Kewdale where he lived.

I wonder whether he was simply posting in an effort to establish personal contact with women/men from around his area who shared his interest in the West Coast Eagles?

I think that's a bit disrespectful to Droc to say he was a con and I was one of those people who thought Droc was onto something until Bart convinced me otherwise with his take on who the CSK was and I changed my tune.

I think Bart was right when he said Droc thinks he knows who killed those girls but he was wrong about it.

Droc was adamant he was sure who the CSK was and he went to what appears to be a massive effort to help the police in solving this crime writing constantly to the big boys and involving people from his church. He would not have taken the time and effort to do this if he wasn't convinced and he definitely wasn't a con.

It would have had a big effect on his life so I think he should be commended for trying to contribute to the case and change his life around...besides how is this any different to WAPOL who were convinced it was LW or others on here who think it was Judoman....he thought it was a person he knew due to some compelling evidence.

I think its very likely.
The police have also made it seem like CG and SS had a car pull up near them just before disappearing and in the CIA doc it sounded like they were not blitzed.
Seems strange to me SS would get in a car after calling a taxi but if she knew the man...
JR I think left with CSK and would have got in his car willingly.
CG just got back from overseas where she had been hitchhiking so quite possible she may have got in a car also.

These ladies may well have met CSK earlier in the night or at other times and just got in because he was a familiar friendly face.

May have rejected his advances once in the car and he's probably restrained/hit/stunned them then. Doubtful he takes rejection well.

Hes then no doubt taken them to one of his isolated places he already knows well...does whatever sick perverted things he does..then has to kill them because they know too much. I doubt hes carrying around weapons...strangulation makes the most sense.

The same publication says she's Irish, despite later on saying she was born/raised/killed in Perth. (I know her parents were born in Ireland, but my father is a man yet that doesn't make me a man). It was just a curiosity piece, I don't think they were too concerned with facts and just filled in bits and pieces keeping with what was of interest to their local Irish audience

Droc was convinced his story was right for some reason or another, he either truly believe TT was involved or TT had pissed him off enough in the past that Droc was willing to commit perjury to seek revenge. The whole snuff video thing is what lost my support of his theory, but everything else he stated seemed both reasonable and possible.

Also keep in mind there were dozens and dozens of other murders, rapes, assaults and abductions and sexual deviancies occurring during the same years as the CSK, He wasn't the only violent offender operating at the time. so who knows there still could be truth in at least some of what Droc had to say. but that's a different case for a different day.

Yep can only agree with you and your last statement. My husband and I attended his practice for 13 years when we lived in hills. We usually saw another doctor there, but I did have one consult with him, let's just say he is very aware of all the ladies in the room and scopes the place constantly to leer at a "good looking sort." Should check out his FB page and some of the comments/photos he shares, very revealing! I remember a couple of posts whereby he sent a pic of huge pair of breasts saying to all his mates something like, "national breast appreciation day, send a nice pair of *advertiser censored* to your friends." And another about Viagra and 007, helping you to "roger" Moore (roger is English expression for sex for those who may not know) I must admit I did smile at that as it's quite a clever play on words, but really, an MD sending pics of *advertiser censored* and making such sexist comments, strange in my book. Read "The Devil's Garden" if you haven't already, bizarre!

Just less control or redaction, less likely a lawyer can argue said information has impacted a potential juror etc as almost nobody in Perth would have seen that article.
I suspect local journalists know about 50% more than they can print.
