Oh lordy, another confusing map fiasco? That might explain the wires overhead in the fishing photo. I wish we could get confirmation of where she was fishing, even though I know that is impossible.

thanks for the info, Chinook3

I looked at, Bridges on wabash river at bridgehunters and i say the bridge behind Abby is Monon high bridge. Jmo

I think they are still frames from the stalking act, IMO, and probably the best stills that could be released for the purpose needed, to identify the Bridge Guy. Cannot for the life of me figure out how he's not been identified.

Good point. BG clearly knows he's being recorded in that still, but he's so calm about it. I doubt the guy looks anything like that nowadays.

I GUARANTEE that the BG, who I believe has a moustache in the 'still', has shaved it off by now. This should be on the suspect profile, IMO.

DELPHI, Ind. — Some of the alibis given to police investigating Liberty German and Abigail Williams' killings turned out to be less than truthful.“We’re going deeper with alibis that are provided,” Carroll County Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said. “Part of the reason … we have learned of people who have lied to us on the alibi.”That doesn't make them suspects, per se, Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said, but it does mean that police want to find out the truth — whatever that might be."They’re seeing that maybe there are some discrepancies going on," Riley said about rechecking the alibis.“It’s just making sure we don’t miss something.”

I know. It is frustrating. I THINK the stills came right before the abduction (my opinion). I don't think the families would want that video evidence provided to the public. Anyway, I am looking at everything I can through the web, and may look like a dumba$$ in the process. I own it.

It's difficult to know what exactly the families are going through, so I may be completely wrong here. But I would think that they'd rather have more video/info released to the public than having the girls' murder go unsolved. LE could discuss it with them, show them the evidence, and emotionally prepare them prior to its release. Libby's grandparents seem to have a lot of trust in their pastor, and he could probably help them through something like that.

Well, we don't know how lengthy the video was. Maybe Liberty only filmed a few frames.

My gut tells me BG immediately attacked them. If BG told the girls to go down the hill as he escorted them down we would have seen more of the video. Pure speculation on my part though.

Google meth labs in the woods Indiana.

Hopefully I did this correctly...to "Google meth labs..." I posted earlier this evening that human trafficking has become more and more common in this part of the state--it is associated with meth/drug use and close access to Interstate 65...in reading all these threads about random act--perhaps not so random in one aspect but completely random as long as it fit the criteria for trafficking young people.

That would have been pretty impossible from twenty yards away. And taking into account his perceived age (40s) as well as the fact that the bridge is a tough one to walk on, the video probably would have lasted an extra ten seconds before the suspect reached the girls.

I wonder what the reasoning is to let the public know this, that alibis haven't all added up?!!! Hmmm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IMO, the fishing pic is on the bank of a large river about 100 yards wide or more. Deer creek is 1/4 that size or less.

"Ok, guys. The hunt is on to see if someone can find reference to a girl claiming she was going to go along with Abby and Libby."

I am about three pages behind and the thread closed as I was typing. Bringing this over .... have you found the info yet? The only friend I remember speaking about their friendship was Arika. Nothing about planning to go with them on the trails, though.

I don't remember seeing anything at all that references another girl who WAS going to go hiking that day with Abby and Libby, but ended up not going.

I was also wondering if perhaps Libby was filming Abby, panned to BG for a moment, then went back to filming Abby.

Am I the only one that is excited about the latest article?

Yeah, I have spent the last hour looking at every video and google maps and I cannot find those wires!!

Also the place where that pic would have to be in conjunction with the bridge is too narrow (the creek I mean). Of course I could be totally off base.

from last thread:

Elly Mae, were you using the pic of Abby fishing for this conclusion? OMG, I cannot believe we did not connect her fishing spot to where they were found. They may have walked down there, to a familiar area, while on their "hike". Do we know for sure they were dropped off on the north side? Could they have been on the south side all this time? Perhaps dropped off at the cemetary area and walked down from there.

This is an amazing find.
Agreed, and it's chilling.

Do we know whether Abby and/or Libby posted their pics on SM and if they used privacy filters?

I'm stunned at how much people post and how trusting they are to do so. Could this guy have had access to pics like this fishing one of Abby? And is it just coincidence that the bridge frames the background of this particular shot? Or were there lots of such pictures online?

I think it's a case of a reporter asking the question, what are the members of the investigative team doing? Reports come in, are sorted and reviewed. Some are followed up on with additional questions. This is how it works. Hopefully they'll find at least one report that keeps needing to be followed up.

This may very well be reporters taking liberties....but I find it VERY interesting that at 1:26 in the video/article I linked below that the reporter states that the voice from the phone IS the man in the photo: "authorities confirming to abc news that that voice belonged to the man seen in this still image".

This is the first I have heard of anyone confirming that the voice and then man were one in the same. I lean towards the "one perp" idea, but I do recall a lot of posts regarding the fact that LE was NOT linking the voice to the man indefinitely and leaving room for a possible accomplice. Anyone else think this is legitimate, or poor reporting from abc?

Great find.

IF the report is true that it is BG's voice I wonder why LE didn't say this before.
