Found Deceased MN - Jesse Dady, 21, St. Cloud, 25 March 2017

One thing we all have learned is that CCTV does not do very much that is for sure.

This youtube video doesn't look good:

Drinking 2 for 1 drinks all night. Then sends audio-only snapchat that sounds like running water before disappearing.

Any chance it was raining? Or is there a fountain downtown?

Or maybe it was dark because he was peeing? If he was drunk maybe he'd think that was a funny snap.

Just looking for hope.

Probably trying to pee into the river and fell forward. At least that's the most common explanation in these cases when a body turns up.

Very concerning ...:
"When Jesse never came home the next day and it got dark outside panic set in for the friends and they spun into action, 'I remembered I woke up to a snapchat of him where we think he was on a dock or near water," says Brittany one of Jesse’s friends. Brittany sent a message back but it was left unopened, 'We should of [sic] never left him by himself we should of looked for him instead of thinking nothing of it,' says Annie." (BBM)

I'm sure they have already figured this out, but I'm wondering what time the snapchat was sent. Was it around 1:30 am, too, when Jesse was caught on camera at the back of the Empire Apartments? Still wondering also why he was there, especially since it wasn't on his way home.

This must be terrifying for friends and family, and I live rather close in a city with a lively downtown that's near a river myself. In all probability, he's in the river. :( MOO.

But also the car pulling around to near where he was last seen on CCTV and then leaving minutes later is definitely odd

Was he a member if any dating or messaging apps? Kik, Tinder etc? I hope they are checking this, perhaps he was meeting someone he met online.

I made a map showing the location of the Empire Apartments and the river to the Red Carpet and The Press Bar so you can see how close it is to the river. He was walking North which is in the opposite direction of where he lives. SCSU college is South and also on the river.

thanx

I went to school at St Cloud State in the late 80s early 90s. St Cloud population has grown like 300% since I attended school there. Growing pains with a large Somali population. The locals are not very happy.
I do not believe he went to pee in the river. most of the areas around the river where he is at have walls. we cannot dismiss this as "another drunk college student falling into water." I have a spreadsheet of 300 young men from US and Canada who have went missing from parties or bars. Last seen walking alone. There are cases where women lure men on dating sites, there have been cases where someone asks them to go to an afterparty and robs and kills them and puts them in water. I hope police do more investigating than dismissing. Please let MN police crack this and figure out what happened. maybe the bouncer arranged something or the person he got into the bar fight - had their friends gang up on him

I wonder if they have any other shots of this car that they could zoom in on and get a partial license #? It could be just a coincidence, but it would be nice to be able to rule that car out.

This reminds me so much of Scott Radel's case. He was downtown here in bars (in 2006), and ended up on the north side in the river. Read the comments at this link also, I always felt someone picked him up, because he was really far from the river when he made his last phone call. His footsteps down the snowbank were running footsteps, as if he was running away from someone. Police said there was no foul play there also.

Someone posted this on FB in the comments section in reply to a MSM report on Jesse's disappearance, and I think she is spot-on. She believes the vehicle that was caught on camera is a 2010 Mitsubishi Galant: https://www.facebook.com/fox9kmsp/posts/10155163568949138?match=amVzc2UgZGFkeQ==

I wonder if that is a secret (for lack of a better word) clue - like she "knows". It is a pretty boring looking car, that looks like a lot of others in the dark I would think. moo

search near Hester Park- does that mean anything to anyone? Big , druggy, etc etc? Dark . lit. far away from other locations??

meet Monday morning to determine the next steps in the search

Any more specifics on the fight?

earched the riverbanks all the way down to the St. Cloud hyrdodam at St. Cloud State University.

the sheriff’s office has jurisdiction for searches on the river while St. Cloud is responsible for shoreline and riverbanks.

Police do not suspect the car's driver of any crimes, but are hoping that person might have seen Dady.

Dady was known to have an adventurous personality

Jesse Dady has been missing since celebrating a friends birthday at Cowboy Jacks in downtown St. Cloud. Before the group of friends went downtown they partied at a house party where friends say nothing was off about Dady, “He was overly excited than normal but it was a good friends birthday”,

at Cowboy Jacks

it was a typical night for the squad.”

“Jesse was supposed to meet with a friend of ours at The Press Bar, but we noticed before we left that Jesse left before our other friend”,

This doesn't sound good. Dogs evidently tracked his scent to the river bank. They have requested sonar cameras from Hennepin County, and then will use divers if they find anything.

Answers on above questions: Hester Park is the large park further north along the Mississippi. Hester Park is approx. 2 blocks long. It's a very nice, large park, not druggie, family neighborhood. After that, to the north, is the St. Cloud Hospital. The Beaver Island Trail is a walking/biking path along the river. It is probably just closed in the search area.

I hate to say it, because it is so horrible to see the same ending over and over...but I have to say he is probably in the river....:sigh:

It's what I thought immediately given Minnesota, early am hours, walking. It happens over and over. So maddening.
