"were making progress, quietly"

What LE said the other day. I'm going to cling onto that.

Please link to the quote from law enforcement saying Ron L is cleared. TIA

Cops are not going to "clear" anyone. They never have. And they won't until they bring charges against one or more people who they think are involved.

I thought the interviews were weird but I don't think anyone focused on like that would enjoy being investigated and arrested. And it does seem a bit cruel
to say a non-suspect is enjoying his 15 minutes. This can destroy a
reputation. Lays bare every dark thing about a person.

My read on demeanor was not one of relishing attention but trying to over-explain why he couldn't have done the murders. IMO

He should have known not to lie during a murder investigation. That the big guns are out and they would find out and it would only cause more problems for him. They might not have pressed charges had he just told the truth, IMO.
. He should have never talked to the police during a murder investigation without first consulting a lawyer. Rule 1 when you are the subject of a criminal investigation.... ESPECIALLY if you are innocent.... DON'T TALK TO THE POLICE.

Would the sheriff normally escort a probation violation hearing? I don't know him on sight so no idea if it's him lol.

Well, he is the sheriff of Carroll County and he has been in the county jail.

How is everyone coming along with the pictures? Pretty sure I found the sweet spot when it comes to using the filters. It's been pointed out to me that it will be clearer on my phone than on the computer so I wont post what I found.I have,IMO,been able to identify the white "handle" or "rope" that seems to be coming from his coat.Seems folks were making progress along these lines yesterday.

Listen to LE

- Unrelated to murders
- Not a suspect

They have also not cleared him either. I think it is telling that he initially gave a false alibi, especially when that alibi would have put him farther away from the scene of the crime, and possibly a worse driving offense in the eyes of the law.

Hey Everyone,

I am closing this thread for about 30 minutes. There is a lot to clean up and I want to start a new thread anyway. Check back at around 6:00 PM EASTERN and the thread should be open.
