Videos Show Rescue of Rape Victim, Serial Killer Confessions

After hearing a woman’s screams inside a large metal container, investigators sawed and pried open the bin, rescuing the woman who had been chained inside for about two months by a serial killer, according to new videos released by prosecutors.
The videos also show Todd Kohlhepp, in cold and emotionless detail, confessing to killing seven people in South Carolina. He pleaded guilty two weeks ago to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to life in prison. On Friday, prosecutors released several videos, dozens of pictures and hundreds of pages of evidence against him.

It looks like he was of "prepper" of sorts. And way too many guns at the ready. He could kill many in a sort time with all the clips he had loaded. Thank the good lord he didn't go to a mall and it would be like in a video game.
 
I worked in mental health and had to interview people to determine if they were a good fit for the program. I got pretty good at picking up on little flags. Here are some things I jotted while watching the interrogation. And this dude is sick! !!

He said "I'm not a trophy guy" and thought that was funny. Meaning he doesnt keep something from his murder vicyims. He made serial killer jokes to the police! He does consider himself "one of them" on the serial killer group.

I think This dude dumped the bike. It wasn't stolen. It was his way of controlling the situation since his request was denied the other way.

Y did he mention college and credits not transferring in the middle of the motorcycle story. Somethings up there.

He didn't want to shoot any customers in the shop. Such a nice guy. Odd sense of entitlement to dish out the punishments he sees fit. No matter how small the infraction.

He waited until one worker came in cause he wasn't there.
So sad.

He said Kala said he was a killer with a conscience. He actually believes he's a good guy!

He said the cops would be proud that he emptied the gun in under 30 seconds. Yes buddy. I'm sure they're impressed by you.

He told mama he killed more than her fingers. There are more somewhere, I think. He enjoys punishing too much. Not sure why mama thought he was so nice with more murders than fingers. I would hate to see who is on her not nice list.

This guy thinks he is there as a guru. Like he's leading the police in a class. Tells about 2 pairs of gloves and changing out gun barrels. I have a hard time believing he didn't talk about his kills through the years. He's Mr. Big Shot. Big talker. I don't think he kept quiet.

Is there an end? Mine cut off and I want the rest! Lol

Haven't followed this case in a while -- has a motive been established for the bike shop murders?
 
I have watched two parts of this, and cannot get over how he acts. laughing, at-ease, like it is all a joke. JMO

These videos are so appalling. Laughing and joking. I pray none of the families ever watch this.
 
I'm all of ten minutes into the first YouTube interview link and I cannot believe his attitude. Ugh.

He reminds me of Justin Ross Harris, trying to buddy up to the cops.

I'll bet. I certainly wasn't expecting this to be good, or nice, or anything like that... but wtf.

'Doing my best to make sure there were no paying customers there. Collateral damage is not cool.'

These cops..... bless them. I can't imagine how much they had to want to knock him on his chunky kiester.

Again - bless the cops. Wow.

This does clear up one thing for me about his personality. I wondered about the Amazon reviews... what his motive for those was. Was he intentionally creepy because he knew one day he'd get busted and they'd be talked about.. or what?

But no. He just has the wrongest sense of humor of all time.

On HLN right now with Ashleigh Banfield it is amazing the footage from the rescue in the shipping container.

OMG. This is the first I have seen the actual rescue. OMG how traumatic and awful for the girl. So glad she was saved.

They are showing LE cut the chains off of her and how they broke into the shipping container. It is very upsetting to see this and know what she went through. This is the actual footage from the rescue on HLN.
It could be some of the same videos that were discussed a page back. First I am seeing it.

Im convinced he has more bodies buried out there or somewhere else dumped.

There just has to be some more somewhere. Its like someone else said. The ease at which he kills people and the ease at which he talks about his murders is telling us he is a killer of many.

I am not sure how many more but I would have to guess there is at least more than what they have already uncovered. He is probably waiting to see if he can use the information as a leveraging chip for some sort of favor while in prison. This was one sick and scary person and glad he is behind bars. He can never see freedom again or peoples lives will be in jeopordy. Im convinced he would kill again if given the chance and someone wrongs him in his mind.

I would not doubt if we hear of him killing someone in prison. They need to protect other prisoners from this monster.
