Here is a beautiful page of photos that Jimi Patrick's girlfriend put together. In light of the awful way he died, it would be nice to remember him like this :)

So beautiful. This made me cry. Jordann if you ever see this BIG HUGS. Adorable couple, incredible love. I am so very sorry.

Thanks everyone for your responses re: local gambling.

Again nothing has been mentioned anywhere I've seen about this, just something that crossed my mind as a possibility.

I am also thinking that this goes much higher in the drug pipeline down to Phillie.
Wondering if LE knows who CD's suppliers are ?
Great question!!!! Follow the money or in this case the supply....

Alright, sports, what about sports? Maybe he gambled online. Again, just a thought.

I don't know that there is a rationale reason this happened. Just no logically reason.....I don't believe CD, and the victims aren't able to give their side. Maybe through some text messages or other communications, LE will be able to determine a more thorough account. JMO, the arrests are based off what LE knows or knew at the time those documents were signed....they may learn more, and may be able to prove or disprove the accounts of CD and SK. I mean even CD and SK aren't saying the same thing! The only two living people that we know of..... So LE knows either one is wrong, or they both are wrong.

It sounds like Pennsylvania is a lot like Ohio. No real casinos like in Las Vegas, but what we like to call "racinos". There is a horse track and about 3,000 too many loud slot machines...maybe a few tables but none that are fun like poker, blackjack etc

Here's your list for Philly "casinos":

I live close to CDs parents' home in Bensalem and this area is NOTHING like Ohio. You're thinking more towards the western part of the state. We are just slightly over an hour train ride to NYC, about 1 1/2 hour car ride to Atlantic City, just a few minutes to Trenton, NJ, few minutes to Philadelphia. The closest 'racinos' that you speak of near where I live and where his parent's home in Bensalem is DO have fun tables like poker, blackjack, etc... :)

Edit...Not just western PA, pretty much most of PA with the exception of Southeastern PA. MANY areas are pretty urbanized the closer you are to Philly.

Not likely with all the helicopters that have been hovering there all week. Someone would have noticed that. It's possible to grow inside, but takes a lot of grow lights etc.

(Indeed, lots of litup buildings around here in Colorado, that's for sure. You drive down the highway and can see them from a distance.)

Whatever CD was into, it will come out, if it hasn't already. LE knows by now what color underwear he's been wearing and what he eats for breakfast, metaphorically speaking of course.

incorrct, they are full fledged casinos, not racinos, they have table games with dealers with a pulse

Nah, IMO this guy was not a gambler. I see him as a serial killer, who lied about being cheated. He killed for sport, and probably enjoyed it. Good thing they stopped him before more lives were lost.

re: Casinos

Sorry ya'll I was just trying to help by using google to find out the state laws! I didn't know there were that many locals online here right now, so thanks for being able to help me out. And yes MsMichele72, you nailed it. Grew up in west central Ohio but am in Columbus now. I guess the Casinos in Cbus are much better than the "racinos" now that I think about it!

A couple questions if anyone can answer:

Any indication CD was into gambling, and if so, where would the closest casinos be?

Also any indications as to if and when CD ever traveled out of town or State? Tia.

Casinos in PA you have to be 21 to be on premises.

Sorry I am having trouble replying to someone's comment

On the google map where did you get "DiNardo family farm, address 2" location from?
I am a local and believe this is incorrect but I may be misunderstanding what you are trying to locate

Sort of like South Carolina's Todd Kolhepp's "property" for sport.

Opinion only

These are 2 different things.

There was a recent parking lot encounter where CD was repeatedly pressuring someone to get in his truck and talk business/buy drugs from him and the person ended up declining.

Then there was the car selling attempt which I don't know much about.

Here's an earlier article about CD trying to sell the car to a friend.

Dinardo is charged with stealing a 1996 Nissan Maxima belonging to Thomas Meo of Plumstead Township. Meo, 21, (bottom photo) has been missing since Friday.

The following day, District Attorney Matthew Weintraub told reporters, "we allege that Cosmo Dinardo attempted to sell Meo’s vehicle for $500 to a friend whose identity we know but are protecting in the court documents for potential safety."

The vehicle was found at 4 a.m. Sunday by police on a Solebury Township property along Aquetong Road that is owned by Dinardo's parents. The title was found inside the car, unsigned by Meo.

Initially it was he had issues with K2, and now it is marijuana? Why the switch I wonder

Casinos prohibited in Pennsylvania

http://statelaws.findlaw.com/pennsylvania-law/pennsylvania-gambling-laws.html

New York previously allowed casinos only on indian reservations and currently have 5 of those but they are in up-state New York. As of 2013, they have approved 7 "Las Vegas Style" casinos. No idea if those are open yet!

New Jersey: Obviously yes. Not sure how close Atlantic City is to Philly. Maybe a local can chime in.

Delaware: Yes.

Maryland: No. Slot Machines only in certain counties.

i think you are mis-interpreting this law. We definitely have casinos in PA. There is a large one here. in downtown Pittsburgh right by the stadiums. You just have to be 21 to enter.

They are super strict with ID in the casinos (which, for the record, Bethlehem Sands is the closest large one to the farm), but they aren't as strict with ID in bars, and traveling poker nights in bars have a decent following here.

I agree, though, that I don't feel gambling.

Regarding the guys dying over a little weed (I forget exact wording) CD wasn't known for recreational sales. He was known for selling large quantities to people who made recreational sales, like the charges on DF were about. It goes: sellers like DF > CD > ? > ? > etc.

This is an affluent area with a lot of drugs because a lot of kids have the money. Any high schooler knows exactly who the dealers are, even if only by name because it's so prevalent.

IMHO I believe CD killed for the thrill. Ice running through his veins.

ATV accident, no excuse, he was evil before that. Also where were his 2000+ "friends" when he was laying in the field more than a day when he had the accident, or was he stoned.

Also the casinos are not just upstate NY, but one is in NYC, Queens to be exact
