Let's see how many more bodies are unearthed on the Suffolk countycoadtline after Jose strikes today they will be hit the hardest along with CT.

Suffolk County police Homicide Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman whose body was found Friday afternoon on the shoreline of Hubbard County Park in Hampton Bays.

Police, who are also looking for information on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, said a fisherman walking on the beach of Flanders Bay discovered her at about 3:55 p.m.

Southampton Town Police Department officers responded to the scene and contacted the Suffolk County Police Department Homicide Squad, authorities said.

The woman was described as about 25 to 35 years old, short, and with brown hair and a medium build. Police said she had a small green flower tattoo on the top of her right foot.

Police identified the woman as Kristy Westerlind, 40, of Flanders, police said Sunday. They did not identify the circumstances of Westerlind’s death."

I believe she may have been having some mental health issues (not that that negates the possibility of foul play) but may be one reason they don't suspect murder.
 
IMO the cases under the Project Kare mandate out of Alberta, The Fraser Valley killer, the cases under the Project epana umbrella, the Highway 16 original three including Ramona Lisa Wilson, Roxanne Thiara found in Burn's Lake and Alelah Saric Auger . After 2006, Molly Jean Dilts and the GB4, Celina Jeannette Mays who has not been officially ruled out as Peaches and child, Fire Island Jane Doe who has not been identified yet and the case of missing Amanda Jane Rudge out of Toronto.

I wonder if the missing children in the 1980's (Cropsey) could also be connected to one of the family members who lived in Brooklyn, NY,belonged to a secret society in Manhatten and worked at one time in Ocean Pkwy area and I understand has family connections 43 minutes iirc from Gilgo beach, and one possible elderly family member in massapequa (sp)

Then After 2010 possibly going back to Toronto and could be connected to the unsolved homicides of Sonia Varaschin, Audrey Gleave, a violent attack of photographer SL. And in 2013 the disappearance of Lorraine Roach.

I left out a few cases but I wonder if it is a generational genocide situation or they are competing, trying to frame each other? Or maybe all in business together ( possibly life like sex doll making as the sex doll industry is now specializing in body parts like you can now order up just a torso or a set of legs etc) Google sex dolls torso.

I understand the one guy has these two little men dolls who sit on his shoulders. One is the good voice and the other the bad voice and sometime he tells him to be good and sometimes he tells him to be bad. Sometime the good doll wins and he's good but when the dolls says be bad , he is very very bad and he should go to church and confess.

A traveling carnival worker found dead in Farmingdale six months ago. Unearthed skeletons dating back to 1978. Half of the 10 sets of remains discovered amid the ongoing Long Island Serial Killer investigation.
These are among the 38 sets of unidentified human remains that Nassau and Suffolk county coroners have been trying for years to identify. Under a recently enacted New York State law, medical examiners are now required to list descriptions of such remains in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), a federal database designed to help identify John and Jane Does. But adding to the difficulty in finding matches is the site’s underutilization and a funding fight that could hamper its efforts.
“NamUs is one of he most underutilized tools, not just from law enforcement, but also from the public,” said retired NYPD Det. Joseph Giacalone, a former cold case investigator. “It’s one of the greatest tools that can be used to solve some of these cases, but no one knows about it.”

Out of the 11,287 open cases of unidentified deceased persons nationwide listed in NamUs, 1,289 are in New York State, including 27 in Suffolk and 11 in Nassau, as of this story. NamUs is credited with helping put names to 35 percent of cases listed in its database since it was launched nearly a decade ago. It also has functions for missing persons and identified unclaimed deceased persons.

was this guy ever caught? I find it interesting this article is from late December of 2010.

also, what ever became of that supposed body found on Jones Beach in Sept of this year with head, hands, and feet missing - stuffed into a suitcase? I say supposed b/c i saw it posted on a random blog, but cannot source the info elsewhere. TIA!

the unsub in the article i sourced above is what i see in my head when I think of LISK. I mean look at that. Prime serial killer vitals. white male looking to be in his 30's-40's. locals said they believed whoever left the body there did not live in Harlem... likely came from another area of NY. hm.

and look at that - victim was found with a head injury as well as strangled. :(

could this be LISK taunting police with yet another victim in another crime scene area when they were discovering the other bodies in Long Island? The timing is eerie.

I just happened upon the jeannette depalma case that occurred in the early 70s in a very wealthy section of union county new jersey. The case was never solved and ....it makes me wonder....cause i have often sensed that lisk is in his sixties and may have started killing on his teens. I strongly feel that tina foglia was one of his firsts. I would be interested in knowing if any families with a teenage boy moved from this area in union county new jersey to suffolk county new jersey after jeanettes murder. I dont think lisks first couple of victims were working girls.

As i am reading deeper, there was another murder in South Orange NJ. It was around the same time as jeanette depalma. The victim's name was joan kramer. The thing that sends chills up my spine is both joan and jessica were thought to be strangled and missing their shoes. Sound familiar?
