Found Safe CO - William Lake, 3, Colorado Springs, 2 October 2017

The Colorado Springs Police Department is currently attempting to locate David Kevin Lake (a 28 year old resident of Colorado Springs) and his son, William Lake (a three year old). Detectives are interested in speaking with Mr. David Lake regarding an on-going investigation and in checking William’s welfare. At this time investigators don’t have any information about Mr. Lake’s or William’s whereabouts.

Mr. David Lake is described as a white male, 5’08”, 150 pounds, brown hair with brown eyes. A photograph of Mr. Lake accompanies this release. Mr. David Lake is possibly operating a 2003 blue Toyota Corolla bearing Colorado license plate OBP-131.

William is described as a white male, 3’, 50 pounds, blonde curly hair, blue eyes, and wearing a black and white print button up shirt, grey pants, and white shoes. A photograph of William is not available at this time.

Amber Alert Issued For Missing 3-Year-Old

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – An Amber Alert has been issued for William Lake, a missing 3-year-old boy.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says Lake was last seen Monday morning at 11:20 a.m. southeast of Colorado Springs with David Lake, 28.

William is described as a 3-foot-tall, 50 pounds, wearing a black and white button up shirt with grey pants and white shoes.


David is described as 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The two were last seen in a blue Toyota Corolla with Colorado license plate OBP-1

Oh my gosh what a beautiful boy. He reminds me of my little guy, so this hits home. Looking at dads Facebook, he seems like a loving dad. Please let this little guy be found safe!
