I don't know if this is related to Gloria Allred or not. I am relatively local, and this person is under investigation for conducting an adoption scam. Posting this here only because she also referred to having a baby available named Haisley in the days after Savanna's baby was recovered. Read the 3rd article for the details.

Article on Inforum about Savanna's case. It's a pretty accurate summary of the whole case, with a piece of information that I had never heard. http://www.inforum.com/news/4329255...ow-about-savannas-death#.Wb6S2C-5aEQ.facebook
Savanna's mother later said she didn't trust Crews even before her daughter's disappearance. Two weeks before, Crews had knocked on the family's door and asked Savanna to come upstairs to smoke pot with her, despite the fact Savanna was 7½ months pregnant. She had no such antipathy toward Hoehn.

I haven't gotten through this thread yet, but I live in Fargo and can offer insight if anyone has questions related to the area.

Court documents show that Brooke Crews will be heading to Jamestown, North Dakota to undergo a full mental health evaluation.

Crews is one of the two people who has been charged in connection to the death of Savanna Greywind.

There is no word yet as to when the evaluation will take place.

The other suspect in the case, William Hoehn also entered not guilty pleas one week before he was set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing.

She's due to make her next court appearance in January.

Crews will appear in court again in January. Hoehn is now scheduled to be back in court in December.

This is just such a sad story. I know I'm late to the thread, but wanted to offer my two cents worth. I feel like they must have taken Savanna out of the apartment building soon after she came upstairs. I think the boyfriend's story about coming home to find the woman cleaning blood out of the bathroom is just a story he's come up with to distance himself from the crime, as if she did it all by herself. Both of them were involved, and probably drugged Savanna, carried her out to his car, drove her somewhere, then either delivered the baby immediately and killed her or kept her hostage somewhere, hoping her disappearance would not be linked to them (I think they're both crazy), and then delivered the baby, killed Savanna, and brought the baby back to the apartment.I would bet her DNA is in his car. But I think she was gone from the apartment immediately, which is why the killers were so willing to have police do a search. By the time anyone came inside, Savanna was long gone.

Savanna's Act
https://www.theindigenousamericans....avannas-act-protection-native-american-women/
Sen. Heidi Heitkamp introduced Savanna’s Act in Washington, D.C.
The legislation would improve tribal access to certain federal crime information databases.
Heitkamp says that access will help solve crimes and develop prevention strategies.

The bill would also create standardized protocols for responding to cases of missing and murdered Native Americans.
“Under Savanna’s Act, the Attorney General, in cooperation with the Secretary of the Interior, must consult with the tribes on how to improve tribal access to federal criminal information,” Sen. Heitkamp said. “Data bases such as the National Crime Information Center and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.”

Is this something that would have helped find Savanna sooner, or are they just capitalizing on the publicity generated by her case and using her name?
Just capitalizing on her publicity, IMO. I don't see where tribal access to a database would have helped in the slightest bit since she wasnt missing from nor found on the reservation.

What exactly happened to Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind? Here’s what we know and don’t know

This reporter seems to imply police waited to act because Savanna was "not white." Report however is good timeline.

I agree with earlier poster that alleged murderers were too quick to consent to police search on Saturday afternoon for crime to be committed in Apartment #5 (they actually consented to 3 police searches without warrant)!

OT - Please take a moment to read the latest help request from Tricia. You can see her note called "it is urgent now" under the Missing Persons Discussion forum. Here's a snip:

"You can donate at .com or use the email websleuthsdonations@gmail.com and you can donate thru PayPal.com or Google Wallet

This is URGENT!!!

There are bills coming up that are not going to be paid and that will start the awful domino effect that could lead to real trouble for Websleuths."
