UPDATE 07:35pm: Josue Gonzalez, the missing 3-year-old, is wearing jean shorts and pinkish top. Last seen near Jean and South Brazos. The vehicle is a green mustang convertible. The window in back is broken.


SAN ANTONIO – Police tell us a 3-year-old is missing. The child was in a car that was stolen on the near West Side just before 7pm.

Prayers for Josue going up. The mom said that she had run inside to get her boyfriend and left the car running where he was asleep. Poor little guy is probably so scared.

UPDATE 7:44 p.m: Police issued an amber alert Monday night for a missing 3-year-old child who was inside a car when it was stolen from a West Side parking lot.

At least 30 officers along with San Antonio's Eagle helicopter are searching the area to locate the missing child.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KXXV)

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old out of San Antonio.

‘The San Antonio Police Department is looking for Jose Gonzalez who was last seen wearing a pink/red shirt with a gray collar, cut off jean shorts and blue and brown Sperry shoes.

Police say that Gonzalez is 2-feet tall, 32 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. Police do not know the suspect's names at this time but say that the suspect is driving a 1998 Ford Mustang with a TX license plate number DD2P676 with a ripped black convertible top, front left damage, right tail light out, back glass falling out and a portable gas tank visible.
