The Finding Anna Facebook page posted an update tonight after the search thanking everyone who helped. There is a mention of "potential evidence found today". Hoping someone found something that can help break this case open...

Hi all, just read this entire thread from start to finish. How very sad, yet it is encouraging that there is a big group of people strongly committed to finding truth and justice for Anna.

Alas, this case to me has all the indicators of the person closest to her being responsible for her disappearance. Too many red flags even to list. I am not at all optimistic that she will be found quickly or easily, if at all, given how much time the perpetrator (regardless of who it is) had to dispose of the body and cover their tracks, destroy evidence, etc. since it was so long before she was reported missing.

Praying against all odds that she will be found and justice will prevail.

On March 29th, Anna told her mother she couldn’t fly out and she missed them. The next day, Zygmunt got a birthday text message from Anna in Polish with two mistakes. He received the text at 4:50 p.m. Polish time.

Well that helps me since I wasn't aware of the time that text was sent. With the 6 hour difference in time between Poland and Pennsylvania that puts the text at 10:50AM EDT.

Also I don't know that it was mentioned on the thread before but some areas searched earlier are listed.

On May 8, Maciejewska’s dark-blue 2011 Audi A4 was located at the Charlestown Meadows overflow parking lot on Ashtree Drive in Malvern, near neighborhood walking trails.


A few days later, forty investigators including Embreeville Station Troopers, search dogs, and State Police Academy Cadets conducted an extensive search around the Charlestown Meadows development, the surrounding neighborhoods, and the wooded area around the walking trails.


Greater Philadelphia Search and Rescue (GSPAR) joined the efforts to find Maciejewska on June 14. They searched Bodine, Seven Stars and the Turnpike area around the house on Hedgerow Lane for ten to twelve hours in total.

I'm not local, but am familiar with the area. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but are these searches taking place on foot from the staging area? Or is that just a place to meet? This seems like a strange place to me to fan out on foot. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
 
Where are you Anna?? I wish more was being done for her. It's so sad that the people who truly care about her live in a different country. It blows my mind that someone can seem to vanish into thin air this day in age.
 
This area is not too far from me. It must be tough to search with all the highways and woods. There are so many obscure places where someone could be hidden, if they wanted to hide someone. And then, you could have accomplices with private property, where a body could be hidden, like that guy up in Bucks County, Cosmo Dinardo. If I was a betting man, and I am, I would bet that LE has a good idea of what happened, and things will surface unexpectedly. I just keep picturing that area and someone like Tracker, trying to find something. It must be quite an undertaking, searching in dense weeds and underpasses and woods. I can't imagine.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again. One thing I've learned since I started following Websleuths is just how easy it is to permanently hide a body! I still think she might be in the house.
 
I would think a case like this would get solved by watching how people react and looking at motives and history. It is just so weird that you have this international element with this case too.

As far as LE having a good idea of what happened...I really really hope that is the case, but I am starting to get concerned that maybe they just don't have the manpower to continue actively investigating unless new evidence is brought to their attention (especially if nothing major was found at her residence). I feel like these types of cases need a family member calling every day and really continuing to put the pressure on LE. So sad. I wish Charlestown had their own police department!

Obviously this is speculation, and I do not know how often the family in Poland communicates with PSP. They might very well be in daily communication, but that would be hard with the communication barrier.

We don't know what has or has not been searched at her main residence. We don't KNOW much of anything. I did hear that her townhouse in Exton was NOT searched by LE but I don't know that for a fact, although MSM never mentioned it being included in the search. Crazy! I sure hope things are still happening behind the scenes and that this isn't being swept under the rug.
 
It would be great to know what and where has been searched and what and where has not. Otherwise we are running around in circles wasting volunteer and private resources. This is sounding more and more like a "snipe" hunt.
