NV - 59 Dead, over 500 injured in Mandalay Bay shooting in Las Vegas, 1 Oct 2017 #10

I feel confident in saying that there will never be a day in my life that a sexual pose will consist of a bottle in any rectum......

Do you have a link for that?

:drumroll:

I thought this was really strange, too. Like, is this a common practice elsewhere (to charge the media a fee to access documents that should be public anyway)? I know they will often charge a "processing fee" to prepare the documents, but isn't that fee usually a predetermined amount that they charge anyone for any case?

I’m very curious. Like what is the protocol for the Judge? Naming their own price gives them a lot of power. It sounds risky to me.

I think "tumbling end over end" means instead of the bullet traveling straight towards the person, it's basically doing somersaults as it flies.

No, the bullet in question flies straight and spinning, as all modern bullets do.

The "tumbling end over end" part is after it hits the target. The high velocity of the bullet in question causes it to have a tendency to tumble somersault wise after it hits the target. If the bullet tumbles, it can increase the severity of the wound caused. Thus, it can mimic an illegal by Geneva Convention "dum dum" round with out truly being an expanding bullet.

Over the years there have been rumors that the bullet was intentionally designed to tumble on impact or that the Soviets (they later adopted the bullet) actually placed a cavity in their bullets to increase tumbling. I don't think these rumors are factual though.

So Ive watched the videos. Where is the footage from before the shooting.. Also it appears he doesn't change his shirt?

He doesn't look like a feeble, frail elderly man, as has been described here. And lots of rolling suitcases. Nothing odd for anyone to notice.

Yep, sure seems to be in good shape physically. Nothing seems out place with his suitcases. I guess all the rifles were taken apart, put in suitcases, then assembled in his hotel room.

Ok, so now we finally get to see the CCTV of SP and his bags.
Nothing surprising really, it was done as we were presuming, over the course of several days.

He looks pretty fit and healthy, compared to the last photos we saw of him..

I'm not understanding why he could not have transported all the guns in a single run.. they would all have fitted in his vehicle, would they not?

then again, I understand nothing of this man...

He could have packed them all in, unloaded a few at a time and had more time for gambling before he slaughtered..
Why did he slaughter ?
Why was this footage withheld for so long?

It never needed to be held back..

He was known to be a slovenly dresser with a standard "uniform" of sweats and T-shirts. Likewise, some people whom he had regular contact with such as his barber reported that he would frequently appear disheveled to a degree, but by no means homeless or totally unkempt. As another side note, he was also known to drive relatively modest cars despite his wealth.

These videos prove nothing. There's still absolutely no proof that Paddock fired any of the shots. Nothing with this story adds up. I don't know what the truth is but I know the official story isn't even close to what actually happened. Couple of things to think about- first there's no way Paddock made money as a professional gambler. Come on, he only played video poker, only the casino wins at that game. Second point- there was no need for 23 rifles for one man to shoot a bunch of people. Three or four would have been more than enough. So the official story we're being told is not the truth, it's a cover up. I don't know why but it's blatantly obvious that the FBI / LVMPD / Mandalay Bay owners don't want the public to know what really happened.

Thank You bobcat, I agree with you and have felt the same all along. I still suspect he was dealing arms but we
can't have that connected to a major LV hotel, now can we?

Anyone else notice that at about 50 seconds into the video, he seems to be interacting with a security or police officer?

It doesn't look like security or a LEO to me. He looks like a manager to me. Las Vegas police don't dress professional. They wear basic brown uniforms. Even the sheriff doesn't wear a necktie.

I agree. It's some guy with a name tag, doesn't look like security officer.

I still think there is more unknown to this story.

Why in this world did this one man need or even want this number of guns in his rooms? There is no way he could have used every gun in his rampage.

Was he expecting helpers who didn’t show? Unless there were many of them, the number of guns still was excessive.

As time passes, I believe he was selling guns or a gun runner. Of course, we will never know the truth. Just one more US mystery to be swept under the carpet.

My opinion only.

A NEW JUDGE TO HEAR THE CASE FOR RELEASE OF FOOTAGE

The footage looks unremarkable - a balding man sitting slouched at a video poker machine. The same man walking in a hallway with luggage on a carrier. Riding in an elevator. Eating alone.

Unremarkable except that the figure in the video was Stephen Paddock, the man who ultimately settled in on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and opened killing 58 people and wounding hundreds of other

Released by MGM International Resorts, it was just one more glimpse into the largest mass shooting in modern American history. *****But hundreds of hours of 911 calls and body-camera footage from police during the rampage remain unreleased*****

The tug of war has resulted in police asking for - and being granted - a new judge to hear the case after another judge ordered the release of the requested items. In the meantime, the material - except for some edited video that was released days after the shooting - remains off-limits to the media.

“Last month, when 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., 911 calls and surveillance video were released about three weeks later, though an attorney representing the media said he was not convinced all the surveillance video had been released.”

“The next court hearing for the release of 911 calls and body-camera footage in Las Vegas is set for late April - six months after the shooting”
