A friend of Spotz who spoke with KTLA Monday night said he was unaware of a romantic relationship between them, and was under the impression that Spotz had a fiancee who lived outside the city.

My speculation (MOO MOO MOO) is that the friends in LA didn't know about the woman in Colorado, and the friends in Colorado didn't know about Adea.

Adea Shabani had an intimate relationship with Christopher Spotz, who also had a fiancé, according to detectives. @LAPDHQ says Spotz got an attorney after detectives started talking to him about Adea’s disappearance.

Yes. The police confirmed a fiancé in the press conference. A few days after Adea was last seen alive, Spotz drive to Colorado with his fiancé.

BREAKING: Sources confirm that Adea Shabani left with her boyfriend Chris Spotz, also an actor, on what she thought was a weekend getaway. Spotz would later tell police they fought and he left her in Santa Clarita which sources say is not true. @foxla

Sorry, my bad! They didn’t specifically mention the fiancé other than that he had a fiancé in Colorado - just that they weren’t sure if someone else was involved.

Okay, thank you.

As far as we know, the fiance is a victim as well. We don't have evidence that she even knew Chris was involved romantically with Adea. I'm sure the police have talked to and will continue to talk to the fiance and will determine if she was involved with Adea's disappearance. For now, we need to assume she wasn't.

I don't think that they said the fiancé lived in Colorado. They said that he and his fiancé drove to Colorado from Los Angeles the week after Adea was last seen.

Although it was recorded on Jan 18, it seems WAY too much of a coincidence that in this monologue he talks about killing someone to gain someone else's love back, and getting his life back. And that the person will never know what he did to get her love back. Absolution, he says. SO CREEPY and disturbing.

BTW, I googled this using some of the key phrases and "monologue" to see if I could find out if it was from a play or a movie, and no luck. Did he write it himself, and if so, was this murder brewing for a long while, or if he didn't, did this monologue make him consider murder as a solution? I too, want to know WHY? WHY NOW? What triggered this? Who found out about who, or who was about to?

Also, some very interesting comments from someone claiming to be his cousin under the video.

This makes me wonder whether the fiancee came to CA, maybe unexpectedly, that caused the go off the deep end. (if she does indeed live in CO)

Yes they did. I'm glad someone at the press conference brought up people not understanding why Spotz wasn't arrested weeks ago. Hopefully people can learn to trust that the police have reasons for doing what they do and the length of time it takes.
