EUREKA, Juab County — Arrests have been made in connection with two bodies found in a remote Utah County mine, authorities said Thursday.

Utah County Undersheriff Darin Durfey said multiple arrests have been made. He said individuals involved are from Utah and authorities are "familiar" with at least one of them.
An official announcement was expected to be made later Thursday.
The bodies have not been identified by the State Medical Examiner's Office but officials said Wednesday they believe they are Riley Powell, 18, and Brelynne “Breezy” Otteson, 17.
Durfey said Wednesday their deaths were being investigated as homicides. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office assumed command of the investigation because the bodies were found in their jurisdiction.

According to arrest documents, Morgan Henderson, 34, had an axe in her car as well as a rifle and a box of ammunition. Deputies also recovered knives that were located on the floor board of Henderson’s car.

The patrol deputy who arrested Henderson said dispatchers relayed “additional information” during the stop and a detective with the Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office had been informed that Henderson was involved in the traffic stop.

Henderson’s arrest came 48 hours before police reported receiving information that led them to the mine where the bodies were discovered Wednesday. As of Thursday morning, charges had not been filed against Henderson for the weapons or traffic charges from her arrest on Sunday.
