Missing Virginia juvenile endangered, last seen May 2

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Authorities in Prince William County are asking for people's assistance in locating a missing juvenile who was last seen on May 2.

Palmer Curtis Marsh was reported missing on May 4 after being seen leaving his residence on foot toward a wooded area located on Burwell Road in Nokesville two days earlier.

Marsh apparently left his home following a disagreement with a parent.

From May 18 and 21, multiple ground and aerial searches were conducted in and around the area.

Additional searches were performed on May 24 and nothing of note was located, according to police.

Anyone with information on Palmer’s whereabouts is asked to call Prince William County police at 703-792-6500 or your local police department.

FBI Seeks Information on Missing and Endangered Prince William County Juvenile — FBI
WASHINGTON—The FBI Washington Field Office along with the Prince William County Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Palmer Curtis Marsh, 16, of Nokesville, Virginia.
Anyone with information regarding Palmer Curtis Marsh is asked to contact the FBI Washington Field Office at 202-278-2000 or https://tips.fbi.gov, or the Prince William County Police Department at 703-792-6500. Tips can remain anonymous.
 
"As a result of new information received, police over the weekend and into Monday conducted multiple ground searches in and around the Burwell Road area. Helicopter support from the Fairfax County Police Department and additional aid from Manassas City Police, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue, and the Virginia Search & Rescue Dog Association assisted in the search. Nothing of note was located. Residents in the area are asked to check their property for Palmer and to continue circulating his photo," Prince William County Police stated in a press release.

Unidentified human remains discovered during search for missing Prince William County teen

NOKESVILLE, Va. - Detectives investigating a case involving a missing teenager from Prince William County have discovered unidentified human remains in a wooded area in Nokesville, police said.

According to Prince William County police, the remains were found in the 14800 block of Glenkirk Road at around 3 p.m. Tuesday as detectives and the FBI were surveying the area investigating the disappearance of 16-year-old Palmer Marsh.

Officials said they are unable to confirm the identity of the human remains at this time. They have been transported to the medical examiner’s office in Manassas for further analysis.

Human remains of missing 16-year-old boy found in Prince William County
NOKESVILLE, Va. (ABC7) — Human remains that were located in Nokesville Tuesday have been positively identified to be the remains of a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing over a month ago.
On June 5, Prince William County detectives, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, found the remains in a wooded area in the 14800 block of Glenkirk Road.
Police say there is no foul play suspected in the teen's death.

Detectives are now waiting the final results of the Medical Examiner's Office to determine cause and manner of death.
