Shriver (DOB: 9/2/87) was driving a tan 1997 Toyota pickup in the area of 595 Gopher Ridge Road and Old DeLand Road.

Searchers from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and FWC are searching for her.

Shriver was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. She is 5'0'' to 5'2" tall and her photo is below. She may be experiencing some hearing impairment. Anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Authorities were in contact with Shriver until about 6 a.m. when her cellphone likely died.

1)She got stuck at 5am.
2)Was on the phone w/ LE until 6am when her phone battery died
3). Her truck was discovered at 1pm and she wasn't in it.

Sounds like maybe she got out and walked away. I hope they find her soon.

She never should have left the truck!! But it was 7 hours from the time her phone died to the time they discovered her empty truck. She may have given up hope and took off on her own. And it sounds as though she may be hearing impaired!

I'd love to know what she was doing there that early in the morning.

I hope they find her soon.

Why did it take so long for them to get to her on that first day? If they were talking to her for over an hour on the phone, could they not get LE to get get the ping to locate her?

Poor girl, I bet she was scared to death! Maybe her truck started shifting and she was afraid it was sinking. If she had only stayed in her truck!

Wow, they were careful not to mention that in any of the Sheriff’s updates.

Here‘s the latest from Sheriff:
Searchers are continuing to look for Nikki Shriver, shown below. Below, an airboat was used this morning to search in a canal along U.S. 92.

Today is the third day of searching for the 30-year-old Deltona woman who disappeared Friday after her pickup truck became stuck in Tiger Bay Forest around 5 a.m.

Members of the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, Air 1 and VCSO K-9, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Division of Forestry have all been searching.

Anyone with information about Shriver is asked to call 911. Thank you.

A Deltona woman missing since Friday was found this morning near where her abandoned pickup had been found, an official said.

Detectives returned to the woods early Tuesday morning near where Shriver went missing and turned on their sirens, Gant said. Around 5:26 a.m., she was spotted.

“Shriver came out from a wooded area about a mile south of the location where her vehicle was stuck,” Gant said.

From link above:
"Shriver came out from a wooded area about a mile south of the location where her vehicle was stuck," the Sheriff's Office stated in a news release.

She did not have any major injuries, but she was taken to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach for evaluation.

Andrew Gant with the Sheriff's Office's Public Affairs and Media Relations Office stated that during a brief interview with Shriver, she said she was "running and hiding from the search parties because she was paranoid and feared someone else was looking for her."
