Missing Wichitans found dead in Arkansas shallow grave in Ozark forest, police say

The bodies of two people were found in an Arkansas forest, and Kansas police say both victims are from Wichita.

A man and woman were slain then buried in a shallow grave in Crawford County, Ark., Sheriff Ron Brown told the Times Record. Police were told that the victims had been killed in another state and buried where investigators found them. Great Bend Police Chief David Bailey said investigators believe the couple was a vendor at the Barton County Fair.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims.

Four people have been detained in Arkansas while police investigate the crime.

Three arrested after bodies found in Crawford County

The three people who were arrested — Rusty Frazier, Michael Fowler and Myrna Khan — are being held on suspicion of felony abuse of a corpse, theft of property and tampering with physical evidence in connection to the incident after informing authorities about the location of the bodies, Crawford County Sheriff Ron Brown said.

Frazier, Fowler and Khan told authorities about the location of the bodies following a report of a kidnapping to Van Buren police on Wednesday morning, Detective Jonathan Wear with the Police Department said. They, along with the person who was reportedly kidnapped and then located, told police they were killed in another state and buried where investigators found them, Brown said.

Brown said investigators have confirmed a report of a missing elderly person from the state mentioned by the four people.

“Supposedly, they were buried here Monday,” Brown said.

I see a missing persons report was filed for the elderly gentlemen but I’m not seeing anything in the media about it. How awful.

And, even though they have confessed to murdering these two beautiful, elderly people, they'll get free room and board and never have to work another day in their worthless lives. How's that for justice. The only thing criminals fear is their own mortality (as has been noted time and time again). And, even if they ever get the death penalty, they'll die of old age before it ever happens. smh
