State issues alert for 2 missing children from West Palm Beach

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for Kai Smolen and Caitlin Smolen. The children were last seen in the area of 4000 block of Virginia Terrace in West Palm Beach. The children may be in the company of Sondra Smolen. They may be traveling in a 2009 brown Kia Rondo, Florida tag number Y73XSV. If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of these children, please contact West Palm Beach Police Department at 561-822-1900 or 911.

BREAKING: West Palm mother, two children reported missing

The children’s father reported Sondra and the children missing and told police he is concerned for the safety of all because Sondra is suffering from a medical condition.

It is believed she has started taking a different dosage of her medication, police said.

UPDATE: Police find vehicle connected to missing West Palm mother and children

7:30 p.m. update: Police have found a vehicle connected to a mother and two children who went missing from their West Palm Beach home last Friday.

Police did not disclose where the vehicle was located. Sondra Smolen and her two children still remain unaccounted for, a West Palm Beach police spokesman said.

2 missing children from West Palm Beach found safe

WEST PALM BEACH - A missing mother and her two young children were found safe Wednesday, authorities said.

State officials issued a missing child alert for 5-month-old Kai Smolen and 5-year-old Caitlin Smolen Wednesday after they went missing with their mother, Sondra Smolen, on Friday in West Palm Beach.
