Two teenagers, Darnelle Flowers, 17, & Raysuan Turner, 16, who were reported missing over the weekend have been found dead in a field on the Far South Side, a homicide. Flowers and Turner were classmates at Fenger High School.

One boy’s cell phone pinged near 130th and Elizabeth in Calumet Park on Saturday, about 2 ½ miles from there the bodies were found Sunday night. Someone reported seeing the bodies late Sunday night behind a house, in some nearby bushes.

Authorities say two teens questioned by police about the deaths of two boys on Chicago's Far South Side have been released without charges.

Families frustrated by pace of probe into boys' slaying: 'Our sons were murdered, they know who did it'

Inside a nearly empty lobby of the police station on 111th Street, 10 relatives and family friends sat in a semicircle and barely held their frustration as they faced a detective.

It had been a month since Fenger High School students Raysuan Turner and Darnelle Flowers were found fatally shot in a Far South Side lot. Their slayings remained unsolved, despite a stream of tips from neighbors and acquaintances.
