Unfortunately BOH there are no rule outs listed for this UID in which leads me to wonder if the DNA is being maintained by the local LE and was not uploaded to NAMUS. We have seen this before and given the fact there are no rule outs listed is very odd.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Scott was last seen on August 7, 1985. She laid out her clothes for the next day, set her alarm clock, climbed into bed and then vanished in the middle of the night.
Her car was found in the Amite River Diversion Canal five weeks later. The keys were in the ignition, but there was no sign of Scott. Sheriff's deputies dragged the canal but never found a body.
Scott was the mother of two young children who were in their father's custody. She apparently left her Berryville Street home of her own free will, but investigators don't know what lured her out of bed in the middle of the night.

But anyone could contact them the detective is the one that is going through the old cold cases. The paper work for this UID was destroyed or lost according to the news article and NAMUS. Anyone could contact all thou it may be preferred to be a person of the local Jackson County , MS area.

Considering the bathing suit and the Jackon County climate, it's hard to size down the period she could have gone missing. The high temperatures are almost the whole year fit for swimming, except for Jan, Feb, March, Nov, Dec.
