Defense: Hoehn wanted to believe Crews was pregnant. When he walked into that bathroom door with the woman he loved next to a body, he helped Crews... He should have called police. But he didn’t. #HoehnTrial #SavannaGreywind

Defense: William loved Brooke, she asked him to help cover up a murder, and he did. #HoehnTrial #SavannaGreywind

Are any of you guys buying any of this?

Maybe he really thought she was really pregnant and really aided in the coverup only (ugh like that’s not bad enough)...What do you guys think? Accessory after the fact only?

Did she wear a “‘moon bump”? (I learned that term in another case here) Trying to remember...

(That was wild how my Native American friends and I had a ceremony around the fire and she was found that night.)

Officer Bollman says he looked inside the bathroom. The shower curtain was closed, but it looked like a 'normal bathroom.' Officer Bollman says he saw William Hoehn lying on the bed when he was there. #HoehnTrial #SavannaGreywind

Bollman: apartment was very neat and tidy. Nothing was out of place. Nothing of concern in bathroom and kitchen. Bollman said he didn't check the far side of the bed during the initial search and that the curtains were drawn on the bathtub. #HoehnTrial

Gosh, we talked about the initial cursory search.

How could this officer have ever imagined or envisioned such an awful thing at the time?

So WH was “lying on the bed”.

Day 4 is kicking off with debate between State, Defense and Judge Olson on state's request to have a doctor come in to testify the process it takes to do a C-section. State believes context on process will show jury that Crews couldn't do it alone. #HoehnTrial

The attorneys are currently arguing about the state's intent to call upon a doctor who can testify to he procedure of a C-section and how long it takes, to show that Brooke Crews couldn't have acted alone when she performed the C-section on Savanna. #HoehnTrial

Oh wow, “couldn’t have acted alone”..

KALI, this is just surreal reading all this, remembering this awful awful case, just no words.

I’ve been following this case, but I haven’t commented. This case has a very special spot in my heart. My brother played drums with the Manoomin Singers at the We are Savanna pre sentence rally in Fargo on the eve of sentencing. That evening (Feb 1st), after the rally my brother passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack. He had just turned 48.
I hope Justice is served.

Dr. Froloff says that when he suspects asphyxiation, he looks at the muscles in the neck, layer by layer. Bones in Savanna's neck were not completely broken, but that doesn't necessarily mean she was or wasn't strangled. #HoehnTrial #SavannaGreywind
