Report of plane crashing into house | CBC News

"Ottawa paramedics say emergency crews are responding to a call a small plane has crashed into a house near Ottawa's western border.

They're heading to the corner of Howie and Old Almonte roads."

Things could have been much worse, hoping the pilot makes a full recovery.

Pilot freed after small plane clips power line, crashes in Carp
Firefighters freed a pilot from a small plane that crashed in a Carp ditch Tuesday morning after hitting power lines.

"Paramedics said the unidentified man was taken out of the scene via air ambulance in serious condition with unspecified injuries after the crash."
"They found the plane in a ditch upright but listing on its side.

Although first reports were that the plane had hit a house, it did not strike any structures."
