What other residence they (who LE?) visited what night? The night of the murders?

I posted it earlier and I think with the morning rush nobody saw it. It has been driving me crazy all day!

I have been gone for a while so some of this may have already been covered.

2. 328 AND 366 ARE ENROUTE TO 504 24 1/2AVE.3:27am on the police report. This is odd to me. There isn't one in Barron, the closest is in Cumberland which comes back as a duplex recently owned by a couple from MN. Previous ownership was a rental company, and this may be an investment property considering it's on the lake. So they may not be the residents on the property. But why did police go there?
3. Contact is made with Casino.
4. 328 ADVISED UNITS CLEAR FROM THAT RESIDENCE. [115 - 10/15/2018 4:50:28 AM]
   
5. Unit 366 then goes to Jennie-O
   
   The other home is weird to me. Why did they go there?

Yes. But, I was thinking of the time it will take to sign everyone in. I wish they started that process earlier, not that I want people out there in the fields in the semi-light.

It looks like the gates lock at 9 am. Never does say when gates open or when they'll start registering searchers, but my guess is much earlier than 9 am.

ETA: Two thousand volunteers are needed and should report to the staging area at 1883 Hwy 25, Barron WI, also known as The Hungry Hollow Grounds at the intersection of Hwy 25 and 19th Ave no later than 9:00 a.m. All volunteers must be registered at the staging area in order to participate in the search. Barron County officials will register all volunteers until 9:00 a.m., gates will close promptly at that time. We hope to be completed by 4pm.

Well, there's no doubt a lot of hunters in the area this time of yer, and I am sure many of them are more than willing to do a search for her. They also all have the proper outdoor gear necessary to do this search. 2000 people is a lot of people to ask for on a week day in a less than 24 hour notice.

I just feel that this is a search and recovery, especially since they are not allowing anyone under the age of 18. Evidence as well, of course, but I really believe it is Jayme they are looking for.

Could the phone have pinged in that area and stayed in that area but because of the terrain they need a large group of people to find it?

Would they have civilians searching if they expect to come across a body? I feel they would not allow this for obvious reasons- idk...

I would be interested in knowing what cell towers are in the area of the new search and what they might have picked up. Also think of they have anyone under surveillance at the moment, that news of a 2000 member search might make them visit important places today. Finally, a large foot search is necessary before winter hits in a big way. If Jayme was murdered and dumped out there, would this be about the time predatory birds start circling? Is the tree cover too broad to notice? Could helicopter be circling the REAL birds? Just a thought.

Sunrise in Barron tomorrow is 7:33am. Not the lightest yet though at this time of day. Perhaps they want to wait until fully light to enable folks to find anything that may be there and also to not be injured in any way while looking.

It will probably take that hour and a half just to check everyone in and start briefing them.

I am really losing sleep over this case. It’s in my head because I really feel terrible for the family and I soooo wish for a resolution that brings Jayme back alive. I am off work tomorrow and think I may head to the search early in the am. I’m only 45 min away. Is anyone else here with previous LE, military, or search party experience planning on attending?

Random thoughts (just catching up)
The door-is it possible that the door was kicked open by the perps and then ultimately removed by LE for a complete forensic analysis?
Could Jayme have escaped on foot from the home and then chased and ultimately found and killed?
Does anyone know the whearabouts of Jayme's cell phone (or if she had one.) If she left her cell phone it might be more indicative of her being kidnapped or fled on foot.

Definitely seems like an escape route. I don't think that area would be too overgrown because that railroad is still in use as per this Frac Sand Spawning Rail Boom in Barron Co.

Definitely makes sense that nobody saw cars fleeing or anything like that if they fled on foot to a car somewhere behind the house. Even if they were still fleeing when cops arrived, the LE didn't know what they were walking into or even what they were looking at when in the house so they gave the suspects additional time to get where they were going even with Jayme.

There are very active railroad tracks behind my home. There is a big field and then tracks. They recently put fencing up to keep people off the tracks but they were previously used as path by pedestrians. It all makes more sense to me than a vehicle being parked right in the drive.

ETA: this makes me think the suspects are generally local (from Barron or surrounding areas) and knew different access points to the Closs' home.

I posted this screenshot in an earlier thread. It shows crime scene tape wrapped around a tree or post. What you see is barbed wire wrapped around the tree/post and you can make out a single strand of barbed wire at the bottom that heads of to the left of the post/tree. I don't know where that post//tree is located and I have wondered if part or most of the property has barbed wire run along it. If there is more of the property with barbed wire someone would have to know where is was (or wasn't) or they would trip over it or injure themselves on it.
