NH NH - Missing young women in NH

There's now a lady on the Unsolved Mysteries board claiming that LE in MA/NH/VT is eyeing a new suspect who also supposedly killed Sarah Pryor, Catherine Malcomson, and someone in Cape Cod. She posted on the "Michael Nicholaou" thread and another one about UM crimes that have occurred in your state.

I lurk on those boards and there's been some pretty weird people/trolls on there especially regarding the CVSK so take it with a grain of salt but interesting none the less.

Fran, where did you get your list ?

I found this info regarding 3 other unsolved murders in NH:

Investigators Stalled In Three Cases
POSTED: 5:20 pm EDT May 18, 2005
CONCORD, N.H. -- Three mysterious death cases in Concord may soon be given a jumpstart based on a significant cash reward being offered.
The murder of Judy Lord, the disappearance of Shirley Ann McBride and the suspicious death of David Braley have gone unsolved for years. Concord Regional Crimeline is hoping to change that with a $5,000 reward for information on the cases.
"There's substantial evidence in each one of these cases, but not enough to charge anyone or move forward with a prosecution, and that's why this appeal is being made," Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Strelzin said.

McBride, 15, disappeared while on a walk in 1984, leaving behind money, clothing and other personal items. Braley's body was found in the Merrimack River in 1990, four months after he was last seen at a Concord nightclub where witnesses say he was involved in a fight.
Foul play is suspected in both of the cases, but the only one of the three that has been officially ruled a homicide is the 1975 murder of Judy Lord. The mother of a 17-month-old son, Lord was strangled in her Concord apartment 30 years ago.
"I just was on the phone about a half hour ago with the state lab about the Lord case -- the oldest case here -- and they had some promising results in the way of DNA," Detective Todd Flanagan said.

Young mother's strangling remains unsolved after more than 40 years

The disappearance and death of a 26-year-old woman remains unsolved nearly 40 years later.

  • Last seen alive: July 22, 1984
  • Found dead: September 19, 1985
  • Case status: Unsolved homicide
Ellen Ruth Fried was last seen talking on a payphone outside of a convenience store in Claremont on July 22, 1984.

More than a year later, on September 19, 1985, her skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area next to the Sugar River in the Kelleyville area of Newport.

Officials said the circumstances of her disappearance and the findings at the scene were consistent with the Fried having been sexually assaulted before her death.

The case has been popularly linked to a series of unsolved killings during the 1970s and 1980s in the Connecticut River Valley.

Cold Case Unit officials don't believe the cases are connected, but they said the possibility can't be fully investigated until one of those cases are solved.
