Watchung Police Search For Missing, Endangered Woman

Watchung Police are searching for a missing and endangered woman on Friday.

Helen Kim was last seen on Thursday at 1:35 p.m. leaving her home at The Point apartments on Route 22 West on foot. She was wearing a beige jacket over a grey dress with black leggings and a grey hat and carrying a brown purse, Watchung Police report.

Kim is a diagnosed schizophrenic, police report.

There have two previous incidents where Kim was found wandering along highways. Last time she was found walking along Route 22 in Bridgewater.

WATCHUNG - Helen Kim, a 47-year-old resident of The Point at Watchung apartments, remains missing as of Monday afternoon, Dec. 10.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating Kim, who was seen walking away from her apartment complex on Route 22 West at about 1:35 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6.

She was later sighted at the CVS pharmacy on Park Avenue in Scotch Plains, police said. She left CVS at 6:15 p.m. and has not been located since.
